Just Another Day

Today, my younger bro and I first had our experience at the photo kiosk in Fujisu. At first, we went to the Kodak one, but then the shop keeper have yet to download an update to allow bluetooth to send photos. Because of one update that she didn't bother to do, there goes one customer. And perhaps many more others.. It was kinda sad that my brother's W550i phone can only send a picture at a time via bluetooth, taking us quite a while to upload all 16 pictures we wanted to print. One of those photos was actually my grandmother clipping her toe-nails! LOL! Printed it for the sake of laughter at home later on. The quality of the photos are rather bad you can say. I still think that it still cannot beat the traditional film printing. The poor quality could be due to the low standard phone camera? Should be ba. Haven't tried it with my dun-knoe-how-many megapixel camera yet.

Wanted to head out to the gym at first. But somehow after the exams, I became so slack. Didn't really even want to do any sort of simply exercise to keep myself fit. A very low will to do anything now. Somemore yesterday after all the showrooms-visiting, I managed to get my left foot sprained! Everything I walk there'll be this cracking sound coming out. Ain't gonna see the doctor yet, but we'll see how it goes. Meanwhile, do some foot massage and apply medication oil. I have just began to do the basis of my new blog. I'll try to fit my dog image into the web design. Headache.. Starting from scratch is tough...

Play Cheat!

*turns the time around* Sunday, sunday, sunday. What did I do? Hmm.. Took a tour to several show rooms at Yeo Chu Kang road area. Parents not going to move house lar, but my father seemed rather interested. Some of them were too dark, while others are beaut. There's one whereby there's roof-top garden on the semi-detach. Roughly about 1.6 million I think. o.O Then, got another one with swimming pool, 2.5mil. Sheeze, when am I going to earn that kind of money to buy one of these houses. Aiyo.. Concentrate on studies first ba. Hopefully, I will succeed in life in the future. Meanwhile, enjoy what's given by my parents. Heh.

It was such a coincidence that we met our fellow tour mates at the show house area, whom we met when we visit Korea. My dad somehow remembered that fellow's car number, and decided to look a look around to check if it was them. Car number 48, and so is the house number. And it was them! Can't believed it. Anyway, their house was nicely decorated with the help of interior designers. If you compare that with mine, I can say our house is at the bottom rank. Haha.. No design at all. Last time, just pick what furni we like, and shove them in the house. Nice + Nice = Ugly. All the things didn't turn out to fit each other. So yea... That's how the story goes.

Back to the korea-met friends, we noticed that there were 2 kids room, so my mum asked the female lady, "How many children did you have?". It was one hell of a mistake, which I hope she don't mind. My mum forgot that they somehow couldn't have baby. Could be the problem with the male side, since he likes to drink and smoke alot. Let's not talk about their sex life. Not my business anyway, unless I'm their future doctor or something like that. O.O! Their interior design cost alone about 100k for the roof top garden and so on. It was even praised by the agents next door. Probably because they were the very first buyers of this estate. Wow... We go on to talk about houses etc. Say cheaper to buy old land, demolish and build own one etc. All those adults stuffs you can say.

RongFang! I know your blog le. It's http://www.aneverlastingdream.blogspot.com right? Hehe.. Did a mini-search and it appeared in the very first link. Wahaha... Thanks for visiting my blog hor... Kinda read through your bloggehs also. I also bored with Habbo and so on. Litez has been tying my legs down so far also. Don't really know if I should leave or stay either. But if you don't leave, then I don't leave ba. Hahaha.. No harm being a useless thing in Habbo hor?

Old Band Days (26/02/06-4/03/06)

This was the very first time when Anglo-Chinese School (Barker Road) band performed as a guest band in Esplanade. It was good times, when the band was under Dr. Lee Tian Tee. However, my fellow band mates disagree with me on this. So much so that they made this WASBE dude leave our band. Since then, the band started to decline.... But all these are forgotten past that no one really cherished. I do wish to cherish the good friendships then, but my actions failed on me. Don't really know how to go about doing so. How I wish I can play the Euphonium again...

Hollaback Blog

Oh yes... It's Ruben da man back in blogging business. I'll be changing the site template soon to something more informal I guess? If not, it will be neat and more colourful of course! Instead of this dull bull thing, that makes people go puke. Anyway, the previous week's posts have been archived and I'll be putting back all the old post that were deleted accidentally. So yea, do take a look at the archives if you ever want to find out about me last week.

Exams are over = Holiday!. What can I say? It's chill out time! After this week, I'll be going back to school again for some Global Citizenship lectures, wherby I can get an opportunity to go oversea. Okay.. This 'opportunity' has already been given and deposit paid for. If I ever want to back out of this thing, have to pay another $200 instead of a refund. LOL! It will be fun I hope with my new class. Hate doing the first day crap of lessons, where you meet new people. It's really kinda hard to start a convo at times, esp with guys. Talking to girls are a no problemo to me at all. =P

Chalet has been cancelled, and all the $20 payment you guys made will be returned after the school holiday. Don't worry, Pei Shan will be there to safeguard those $$$. Hahaha.. Let's hope no one break into her house and cope her money or something like that....

Snooze...

MIA for 2 weeks

Wow! I've got 15 mails in my Hotmail, just for being missing-in-action for 2 days. Not bad.. LOL! Anyway, I wouldn't be posting much here for this week and the next, since I'll be mugging my ass off for the exams. So yea.. Blogging will resume only on next Friday, right after my exams. =) I wanna watch Pink Panther and Final Destionation 3! Anyone care to join me? Ciaos!

Unprepared.

Being 18 will have more responsibility, meaning more independence. This is kinda creepy in a way. What am I going to do in the future? A chemist? I don't really see myself in that career as yet. Haiz. That's why I am so unprepared for what's going to happen next. My examinations is next week, and I have yet to touched a single book. I always tell myself to work hard, but when the real thing comes, I run away from it. Studying is boring. What's more is that I am not even interested in the course I'm taking now. Perhaps after I have graduate from this course, I'll most likely change to something else when I'm in the university. I guess I'll just have to bear with it as for now. Ruben, you got to start studying! Bleh.

School as usual. Had a thermodynamic lecture by Mr. U Tin. He simply summarise all the stuffs he had thought for the past few months, and that's it. As for the CSAS, we reviewed our Laboratory Report writing returned to us today. Gotten only 14 marks, which is the average among the class. Soo Chin had received 17 marks when he solo-ed his way man! Not sure for Gowri, but I'm sure it's definitely not higher than his! You see.. There's some sort of misunderstanding between this two buggers, so much so that they split the group and went soloists. Lack of communication is the source of trouble, without team work. Gone back to deejaying on Litez for a while today, before I passed it on to the staff. Still screwing up my part as usual and stutter. Hm...

Oh wait. Did I mention that my brother's blog is up already? Check it out. ;)

It's A Girl! (12/02/06-18/02/06)

Don't you think she's a beaut! This postcard is from the a cute little box they gave us, when we attended their baby's first month. How come she doesn't have a Christian name? Ruike sounds good!

Zzz...

Haven't started studying for examinations yet. Thanks to a problem in the host. So I just simply got to fix it! Anyway, here are all the other posts last time. I'll slowly add them back into the server, when I'm free. Hence, you wouldn't be able to post any comments on them as yet. Bye!

Update:
I have uploaded back one week's posts. However, all the comments on these posts have been deleted. :(

Happy Birthday to Me!

A different day it was, since everyone thing went perfectly smooth and fine. Must be that the guy in the heaven know that it's my birthday!!! Hehe.. After I had my breakfast (mee swan - traditional chinese birthday noodles), I went to create a sub-domain for my younger brother, who's interested in using my site to blog. After this so-called test run by him, my sister will follow suit too! Looks like I'm finally really utilising this hosting. Wee.. Money not wasted! I'll change the template of this site as soon as my exams is over.

Did you know that in chinese calendar, today is actually the last day of CNY, the 15th day? That's why the moon so darn round today. It is such a perfect night for this 18th birthday boy... Back to topic... So my entire family had a last 捞鱼生 (lao yu sheng), and said all our wishes for this new year. What kinda made everyone laughed at that moment was after my mother wished that my grandfather will buy less TOTO, my grandpa countered us and said "TOTO 买多多". Piang! Wahahaha.. Joker sia.. But seriously man, I don't want to see my grandpa from getting into further trouble. I think he's really lonely and bored or something. He should really join my grandmother in her karaoke sessions at the CC. It makes you happy, and thus everyone will be happy!

After this, we went for a high tea in SEA's tallest hotel, Swissôtel The Stamford to celebrate the 1-month old of my niece. All I can say is that my cousin is married to a person called "Robert Yap". He is the CEO of a logistic YCH company, which was passed down to him by his father. Lives in Bukit Timah region, so yea.. he's one of those rich peeps. It's my very first time actually going to this hotel's private area. It was so darn cool. It got a private lift, that goes superfast all the way up to level 69, where they had organised this event. It was actually beside the famous Equinox Complex Restuarant. You can actually see a bird-eye view of Singapore you know?

It was a fantastic experience, that I'll never forget. I'll most probably get some images that my bro has taken with hp and post it up here soon. You will be amazed I guarantee! Anyway, this party was attended by many foreigners and relatives. In the end, it's kinda like "East Meets West" thing. You know.. For the gifts, we gave a bracelet to the baby. I saw this super cute and big purple bear there also. Not only this, I also saw a chio bu distant relative. Hahaha... I wouldn't go into details for this! =P Erm.. Food. Okay. The food there is just alright ba. There's quite a variety down there, but mainly I just like their desserts mainly. Whahaha.. When I was checking out the cool view with my siblings, we saw this eagle soaring here and there. It's like once in a blue moon you actualy see this sort of things.

Movie time! Smoothly as I said. We went to the ticking booth, bought our tickets, and headed straight for the theatres. Lotsa ppl cried during the "I Not Stupid 2" show man. Haha.. Managed to hold onto my tears, and be a man! But then, sister called me "cold-hearted". No lor.. I very good one, just that I didn't want to have red eyes after the show, which was basically what happened for my mum and sis. The show was good I must say, except that I don't really like the new actor, who's ever blur in the show. The meaning there is so true. It is due to the negligence of the child's love, that led to such degration of a poor soul. I still remember when one actor wrote that his soul was dead. I was kinda heart-broken by this. Haiz.. Also, it shows the widening gap of the rich and poor society. It's like the rich just richer, while the poor get poorer. Yes, it stinks. And it is really hard to actually get out of the poverty cycle. Let's not be stingy and praise more to people le. I believe such things actually work, and in that way, people will be motivated to do their best, and strive hard for their company.

After the movie, we met our dad outside the Marina Squares cinemas (he watched fearless instead), and headed to the park to see fireworks. Just in time, the fireworks began once we got there. It was one hell of a sight, but not as great as the experience during the new year 2006 celebration. As our stomach started growling, my dad fetched us to our old hometown Pasir Ris, and ate some food there. Home sweet home at 11pm - Cake's ready! Made lotsa wishessss and blow the candles. The cake's good for sure. Chocolateee! *drools*

It's just sooo darn smoooth, and I still can't believe this. Hahaha.. Okie dokie. Time to head for my sack now. Ciaos!

Sorry for the downtime!

Oppsy daisy! Pai-seh about the downtime of the website. Someone simply tripped over the power supply to the server and brought down the site. LOL! Kidding.. Just some technical problem by the host. Anyway, blogging here is back for business. I'll try to summarise what happened for the past few days ba.

My bruddeh Siang Hui got back his long-awaited O level results. And it was darn pretty good! 4 Distinctions, 2 C6, 1 B3 (L1R5 - 14). Good hor? Better than me man... I feel such a loser now. Haha.. Could it be that the RI and other schools that are having the IB program are no longer there, so much so that moderation took place and pulled everyone's mark? If not, perhaps the paper was easier as claim by my bro. Aiya, O level only no point now. It's matter of what you can do now, and your future. *plays music* I got the POWER ( to change)!

Today was just me and the computer facing each other. No studying at all lor. Stopped playing MapleSEA for good le at level 42, after today. Got to really start studying soon! But then hor, tommorow is my birthday. So in theory, I should really celebrate this good time hor? Haha.. Anyway, things are kinda planned now. Tomorrow will be a family outing time. Gonna finally watch I Not Stupid 2! Hopefully there wouldn't be any last minute changes

Oh yar, I just received an SMS about class 4A2 meeting this coming 18th Feb to celebrate my friend's birthday. The problem is that I got exams the day after that! Help lor. I really want to go, since it's was a looooooong time the previous time I met them. But by doing so, I'll put my exams at risk. And may end up with sub paper. This is a no-no for me definitely. Haiz. Countdown-ed to my birthday with my Habbo friends. They gave me a surprise party that I didn't knew about at all. It was a great deejaying and singing by Bas, and thanks for all the lovely dedications that was sent to me! Fun fun fun! That's the reason why I still play Habbo I guess. It's because they make me feel... how you say ar? Hahaha.. Forget it. Let's sleep! Zzz....

February 9, 2006

Good Morning!

What a pathetic attempt to suan me by Jeremy, who tried to impersonate Gowri. He really think that I'm that dumb to actually gonna allow that comment to be passed here. Hahaha.. He so stupid sia, like that also happy. He thinks that he can actually try to suan me here, when it's my territory. Ha! I'll just keep my mouth mum about what's the content of the comment now, before a war actually begin. Suan here and there fun meh?

Let's not talk about that guy le, who's been trying to get the attention of those blog readers here. LOL! Before I went out for school today, Wei Lian called me to fetch her at the bus stop, having to be caught by the rain. But by the time I reach there, the rain stopped le. Waste my time and energy sia.. xD It's been a good sleep alright. Never had such a great time sleeping for ages. Anyway, we only had 2 lessons today - TD Lecture & PIPC Tutorial. Mr. U Tin Lin kinda got pissed off by the class for a moment, saying that we don't cherish what he had done etc and kinda wanted the lecture. But in the end, it turned out to be just fine. He gave us quite a number of hints of what will be coming out in the exam paper, which is really good of him. From what I heard from the seniors last time, they say that as long as you study what he says, you'll definitely pass the TD exam one. Phew! Sounds pretty good.

As for the PIPC tutorial, it was fairly easy to understand what on earth is going on, although I didn't do the tutorial. Yuan Long really know how to "inspire" us sia, say what he play Maple till 4am still got do the tutorial, unlike us. Zzzz... Really know how to act! Must really really really start mugging for tomorrow's OC and AM quiz. I don't really get what AM is actually about. PBL stinks! You guys better write something bad about it in the AM survey ar.

Stresssss...

It's my birthday in 3 days time, and 11 days to my examinations. Pressies please! Hahahha... Yep, it's hard to make a decision for me now. Play and enjoy my birthday? Or study like a nutcase now, and party later? Hmm.. Gonna pick the latter I think, since I'm not really prepared for anything as yet. Have been slacking too much this semester. I really need to change my lifestyle now. It's just too crappy!

Today's traffic jam was a MESS! Stupid traffic cops was the reason for the heavy traffic from the highway all the way into Sengkang. Luckily, I was only late by 10 minutes. Not as late as I expected. Phew! Thought I was gonna miss my grammar quiz. After this, we had our TD practical, which I go nuts again. Bleh! It was easy actually. Take readings from the machine, and then plucking them into the formulas given. Kinda forgot about my lab coat, so I took one of the lab coats inside the staff rooms, with permission of Jeszeille. Is that how you spell her name? Don't know lar. Haha.. We finished 1 hour early today, so we had to fled our way to the library. Me and alex were looking into the BBQ Catering service website at http://www.bbqwholesale.com. Things there are rather cheap. We were planning into having a 3D/2N chalet thing at the end of our exams, with the Ong and his puppies of course. Haha.. Anyone can drag anyone along! Bring all your gals etc also can. Wahahha..

Then, it was PIPC tutorial, which I had simply forgotten to do! Ain't gonna do the other tutorial as well for tomorrow. See how ba. Slept for 4 hours in the afternoon lor. Anyway, school gonna start at 12pm! Song ar! =D

Nite nite!

I'm Married? o.O

Not again.. Yes yes, forgot what to do yesterday. Yesterday, we went out to makan in TM at Cafe Cartel, and we wanted to use this discount card that I got from our previous trip. But what the hell man, the cashier says that it don't apply for meals and set lunches. In the end, everyone kena the full price. Shaun was kena broke, thanks to the valetine's card he bought for his girlfriend and bro. So yar lor.. Bo bian.. Had to lend him $15. Me, Jeremy and Shaun later wen to TM and watch "Have Fun with Dick and Jane", while the rest went back to school. Anyway, we happened to see Gowri and another of her boyfriends in the movie theatre again. Then, the stupid Jeremy start suaning me again lor. Let the suaning war is begin! Haha..

Okay.. Let me fill you guys some information why these retards think that I'm married to Gowri. This is mainly because after the DRP project, me and Gowri had kind of became true friends as what she said. So yea.. We just kinda treat each other pretty good. But after sometime, rumours start to surface saying about me being the husband etc. Full of crap basically. So that's what kinda happened.

As I was saying previously, the Jeremy started saying his blog that I was not laughing in the movie, even though it's a comedy show etc. Then, say what he knows how I feel etc. Crap! Haha.. I was laughing the most in the theatre! Hahaha.. It's more like Shaun and Jeremy themseleves who are more quiet, since they find it lame. Lame shows are funny! Hahaha.. The movie was about Dick (Jim Carrey) being promoted to vice-president of some sort global company. But then, he realised that he has been tricked, and the company eventually collasped. He then starts to find other jobs, and nearly went bankrupt in the end. So Dick and Jane took up another job - crimes. Haha.. They went here and there to rob the shops, and even tried to do so for the bank! What a joke.. Their security there is crappy? Wahahaha...

After that show hor, I back to school and did my World Issues presentation. Not bad you can say. Best among my group? Haha.. Self-praise! *cough cough* Kinda turned it into a debate, in the Q&A session. I wasn't prepared for the speech lor! Didn't do any writings for what to say. So yea.. Lotsa erms I guess. Impromptu presentation. It's better for me that way I think. Read up some research and present. Cos usually I tend to memorise things too much that once it gets out of my way, I'll screw up almost immediately.

Monday blues

Our assistant AS director (i think!), Dr. Ong, came to teach us the second part of the Aniline and Phenol reactions. Its kinda to remember all of them somehow. I noticed that no one was sleeping at all even though it's still early, base on my body clock. I find him rather kaypo for our batch somehow. Yes, he has a good interest in our cohort. But then again, he don't really have to intervene here and there, right? Somemore in the mean way. I even feel sad for Mr. Wong, my OC tutorial teacher at times. He was sitting in between me and Gowri today. Third party!! LOL! Joking, joking. After a short quiz given by Ong, all the answer slips were thrown at Wong for marking. Haha.. Okay okay, not marking. Just write the word "Seen" on the paper. It's time for him to invest on a stamp! Wahahaha...

During lecture this morning, me and my classmate Alex thought that there was some idiot who stole the can of toilet refreshener, and started spraying it in the lecture hall. But in the end, after a small confrontation between the people at the back and Alex, it turned out to be that a person was sprayed by it all over him, when the can exploded somehow. That's what the person said lar. Not sure if it's true man. It was so funny seeing that Alex was so sensitive by such thing, and was making quite a fuss out of it.

The PIPC lecture was totally crap you can say. The lecturer Dr. Low was simply too slack! Whenever she asked is there any further questions, and the audience replied yes, she then said "No? Good, let's continue". Man, is she deaf? Not only that, she likes to hold lecture tutorials, rather than class by class. She really knows how to improvise hor? Perhaps it's due to her size, that's why she wants to save herself from such tremedous pain of walking here and there. Must be. It's kinda obvious by the way she do her thing. It's either she's smart or a slacker. Anyway, the entire class was like o.o, when she taught through the lecture. We simply catch no balls from her. No Incoming Signal at all. Diaoz. Luckily, I managed to understand quite a bit thanks to the help of the class.

Tomorrow is my World Issues presentation day! I'm so gonna do an impromptu speech for it. Gotta read a couple of researchs at lunch tomorrow though. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to crap at all. Haha.. I fair better in impromptu speech than prepared ones somehow. Could it be that prepared speeches always have the tendency to make you memorise the entire chunk of stuffs? I just like to ask these sort of questions.

Who's reading this blog anyway? Bam!

ACS(BR) Graduation Dinner (29/01/06-04/02/06)

Back to 2004! One week or so after my O levels, we went to the Hotel, next to the Cathay Cineleisure to have our graduation dinner. It was fun and cool. Somehow the song "Friends Forever" by Vitamin C is always being played in this sort of thing. It was the past. It's kind of a sad thing, that we don't actually get back together and have some sort of reunion meetings anymore. Past it is. I can't believe that the bond with my 3-months-JC is much stronger than my secondary school one. Perhaps one of us need to do something...

Need for time management

Kinda screwed up the entire day. Was relatively quiet as compared with other days. Skip my break, becos i had to study my thermodynamics, which i simply can't absorb. all i can say about that test is that i got 50% chance of failing and getting thru it. it's like so many definitions question, which i completely went blank. fairly confident about the last page though. all the simple stuff that i had learned. and i forgot wat is the phrase called that change from solid to gas!!! It's SUBLIMATION for goodness sake u ruben. gonna start doing my csas lab report soon, which is due tomorrow. as for cds project, see how lar.. haha.. i really need to learn how to manage my time better. things are just too rushed. and i need LOTS of sleep! have been sleeping for 4 hours everyday recently. now got panda eyes liao... help!!

It's Opening Time!

Oh yes! It's time to open up my 13 ang baos. Although this year's number of red packets have dropped since we skipped quite a number of houses, I still find them quite generous. The total sum of money is S$198 and 5RM. So let's just say it's 200 bucks. Hence, an average person gave me apprx. $15. No bad, eh? Haha.. The highest giver is actually my mum's $88 red packet. Parents always tend to give their own children more than the rest. Since my parents are in genting now together with my grandma and brother, I guess I'll just have to hide it somewhere first..

Went kinda unprepared for the CSAS individual presentation. Only printed out quite a number of articles, and read it on the day itself. LOL! Heng sia.. Somehow I did quite a "Good presentation", as said by my teacher. So yea.. My class start doing those woah-ing things again. lol. She also said that I was smiling all the way! I can't believe that. I didn't even realised it! But got fault also lar. Accidentally kena a grammar error and do too much of "Erms".. I realised that error lor.. But didn't wanted to correct it. Haiz.

after this thing, i went out to lunch in TM with the rest of the peeps again. ate the set d (inferno and anglio pasta thingy) at Pasta Mania. Not bad.. then waited for that alphosus and qian ming for their signature on the pbl2 project. i'm getting more informal now le.. hahaha.. u shld really see that jeremy's QUALITY work! It's like shit completely. haha... i always target him somehow.. should really reduce my suan-ing on him.. haha..

back to school. do my stpd lab report. it's one hell of a day man! i sit there can die. the environment at the computer lab sucks! everyone around u will be walking around doing projects. projects here and there.. sian sia. called it a day after 3 hours or so. darn tired. zzz... failed to prepare my td quiz for tomorrow. goner. slept at 2am.
