'Rawr' I Am!

Not much shops have opened since I last been there. It's still the old Cathay that's has lost its charm, being so empty and cold. But hell yea, do I like the movie theatre hall 1 "Grand Cathay"... Didn't know that hall 1 refers to the Grand Cathay at first... =.=" There's even valets outside the hall, who will direct you to your seats! It's so darn bloody huge.. So I guess they scared people don't know where their seats, and get lost in this maze.. Weird that they don't really have the speakers on the back of the theatre. So it's not really that surround sound.. Bleh. There's even an announcement that says welcome and shit stuffs, before it opens up the red curtains. There's even some sort of flashy lights from the top and shines on the curtain and walls and stuff. Don't really know how to describe it.. Hahaha.. That's what I call a classy movie theatre.

I was there to catch the movie "Lake House", which can get pretty confusing if you ain't sure of the timeline the characters are in. The movie is about this girl (Sandra) in the present 2006 whom somehow placed a letter in a mailbox, which magically was sent to the past 2004.. Then this guy (Keane) picks up the mail, and start replying to her. That's how the love story goes from.. They mail mail mail.. Then, fall in love with each other.. But because of the time difference, they find it difficult to meet each other and things like that.. Ain't gonna say no more.. Overall, I would give 4/5 stars if you're into the love story that is. It's rather interesting how the plot goes...

People thinks they really knows me well, but to think of it, they are wrong. There's mainly three types of me - Outdoors, Home and Cyber. Spilt personalities? You can say so I guess. Ask my siblings and they will give you a different description of my personality. Ha.

Anyway, earlier today I was like playing the music on my walkman phone, when that Yuan Long and Jeremy started saying that it's not suitable for me and stuffs like that, and it's for those cool and hippy peeps etc. Blah. They don't even like my music taste, but surely they don't have to say those things right. If not, what's the point of getting a walkman phone when you don't use its primary functions. It's like so duh. As I said, they don't even know me well man. I love music, I sing to them and I love groovin' to them alright. Even when I'm doing my homework, I'll blast the entire house with my music on my stereo system. Yes, I like to portray myself as 乖孩子 to many others, but in the heart I really don't. Let's talk about this some other time. Need my good old sleep.... *yawn*

Thanks Mum for getting me this Sony Ericsson w810i! SOooo gonna start learning all its capability and stuffs... Uploaded few hundred MB of songs into it already!

And yes, I didn't buy the dream handphone I wanted initially, which was LG Chocolate KG800... Why? Because w810i's market value wouldn't depreciate that fast as compared to KG800. And yea, its function is waayyy better than KG800. But in fashion wise, I still like KG800 for its sleaky and cool look.

Anyhoo.. I can start blasting songs in school and have a mp3 ringtone - "Fountains Of Wayne - Sink To The Bottom" currently! Still going to bring my 40GB iPod alright.. I hate the headpiece that came along with w810i - they just look toooo fragil to me.

That's the reality of life. Sometimes even if you give the best shot you have at your work, things just doesn't go the way it should have. I have truly understand the meaning of this short quote, since yesterday's traumatising experience of my lifetime. Our ET lab group stayed back and work on that report at the Cyber Centre, putting whatever we got into it. Finally, we completed it at about near 5pm. But something has happened. I sent a wrong file to my email, which I only realised till like 2am when I was going to print it. "OMG!!!" Back to square one, since the one I sent to myself was the initial draft that we worked on... =.=" By then, only Su Hua and I in the goup was online. No choice, but to pia all the way till like 4.30am. At the point of realisation the blunder I have made, I was seriously heartbroken and pissed off because of it. I was like, "Why does the guy below (devil) do this to me... ARGH!!!". At that point of time, I really feel quite messed up, which you know sucks.

What's more, me and Kaijie nearly quarrelled about something, before we headed for the Cyber Centre, which kinda got sorted out... This really made me kinda scared that Kaijie will literally hang me dead, since all of his efforts are wasted. Hahaha.. But yea... Somehow it didn't happen. Phewww... Anyway, Su Hua did a pretty good job with the conclusion even though it's last minute work... *thumbs up* Tried calling my group members up to help out, but none of them could. So I approached Yuan Long, who actually come online to check if he has the ET Lab compilation for me. Thanks for the kind act man! Kudos to ya...

So what's the feeling like of having 2++ hours-sleep only? Pretty high you can say. Go try it man! Ahahaha..

Some of you may be thinking why the hell did Ruben placed this sort of weird song... But this song is really capable of bringing one's soul into a peaceful place located right within your body, which is your heart. Your feelings towards life, family and love will become more and more prominent as the song goes by... Keke.. Enough of my craps. Just want to say how I am truly amazed by how songs can change the mood and environment around one.

The music video for this song "Breathe Me" by Sia is quite interesting... From what I read, the director of this video claimed that they took more than 2500 Polaroid photos over three days just to create the finished effect. Check it out below!

There are times when you cross the line and find it rather impossible to return back. But when you do, you'll find safety and assurance. I have been crossing the line way too many times... I tend to throw my responsibility aside like for instance being a group leader for ET. I shouldn't have take up the position in the first place, and I really hate it to assume that smart people should be able to lead the group well... In fact, I hate it when people do so. Well.. I may like compiling, but I hate doing the task of pushing people to meet their datelines and submitting it on time. Seriously, don't know why I should really get myself involved in these sort of situations... When I don't do this, people will start saying that I am too slack and stuffs. Well.. I just can't be bothered. Ha.

This is one of my busiest day ever you can say this year. Wake up as early as 6am to prepare to go and attend the Synergy boot camp. But when all 3 of us - Trixie, Yongyi and Xiaoping were there already at around 8.30am in the Boon Lay MRT Station, Shaun was still in Tampines (OMG!). So while waiting for him, we go MacDonalds and makan our breakfast. After 1 hour plus, he finally turned up. Dang did he break my record of being late for 20mins. LOL! By the time we reached NTU's venue, we were told to stay outside till the break-time sia. LOL! Kinda sad case. Weird that they didn't give out any certificates! GRR! Later in the noon, I go join Su Hua and Xiaoping for lunch at Paragon's Thai Express. That xiaoping can still remember the codes for the food sia (cos she used to work there)! Amazing..

Was late for 30mins for another meeting at City Hall. What's more.. my handphone is dead, as in no more battery le. Zzz.. Luckily, my friends didn't ps me. Phew! Let me think who was there.. Ian, Xiuting, Elieen, Teresa and Jay. I kinda ruined things for this outing. LOL! Cos when they say they wanted to eat, I already eat le. So in the end, they go to Marina Square and eat at Carl's Jr, while I grabbed myself an ice-cream milkshake... The other peeps really took long to finish up their burgers. LOL! It's so darn huge, but kinda worth it considering the price they paid.

We then go to The Cathay to see see. The place got the "cold" look sia. Alot of shops ain't opened too.. They should really add in some life to the new mall. Wanted to watch movie, but then I watch Pirates liao. Tio blamed. Opps! =/ No other nice movies to watch man. Bleh! Since we got nothing better to do, we walk all the way to the 24-hrs Coffee Club at Orchard (back to square one two!).. Ahahahha.. Had a great time talking with they all man. I can really see that Ian misses his childhood alot.. He knows all the theme songs of the childhood cartoons! From kindergarden songs to ghost stories to the shanghai trip, we spent like 3 hours there I think! Luckily the last tea I shared with Ian "Morning Dew Tea" came in a pot. Then we just keep refilling it with hot water. Darn fragrant! Oh yes, we even played with the chocolate that came with the Fruit Fondue.. LOL! Draw here and there.. Then I started painting the entire plate brown, and accused of Xiuting doing it when the person came to clean it! Rofl. Man it was memorable and fun. That Ian even asked if I should go for ear peircing sia. LOL! No thanks, it's not my type. Need to find my hairstyle first. LOL! Cos currently, it's just a day-by-day messed up hair. Ahahahah... They say I should leave my hair long and simply thin it sia.. Hmm.. We'll see about that..

Dammit! My freakin' iPod now can't be updated with new songs I have recently downloaded.. All thanks to Apple for their new upgrade for iTunes. Quite a number of people in the Apple support discussion board also kena this. Zzz.. Don't know why the stupid computer just doesn't detect if my iPod is connected or not. Tried numberous ways to fix it, but to no avail. Boohoo...

Pirates of Carribean.. This sequel isn't as exciting as the first movie somehow... I's funny alright at some point. I seriously wonder if Captain Jack Sparrow is dead or not. Maybe Captain Barbossa, Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann will revive him somehow, since Jack is still one of the cast in the next final sequel "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End", which is still filming currently.. From a brief summary of the upcoming movie in 2007, it seems that The East India Trading Company will be having a battle with the pirates.. Woot. Must watch!

Oh yes, this was the very first "class" trip supposedly in 2005. That Dr. Ong invited our class to go for the thing, but only four of us - Su Hua, Pei Shan, Alex and I turned up. Ahahaha.. What a joke. Took this picture when we are taking some sort of break. Although most of us dislikes you-know-who, he really adds some life into the class lar (forcefully). Now, the class also abit sian sian like that. Don't have anyone to suan and talk about. Ahahaha..

There are quite a number of songs that have caught my eyes ears in the "Life As We Know It" (LAWKI) show... I simply can't stop wanting to know what will happen next during the show... It's quite amazing how fanatic I can be for a show that has been cancelled already. I would spent almost one hour to hunt down LAWKI's news and soundtracks, in hope the show get renewed for a 2nd season, which is like only 1% chance of it. I'm like downloading all the episodes they have on eMule and Bittorrent etc. It's really hard to dig out all those torrents and links sia, since this show was aired in 2004 and ended in 2005. Oh well.. Gonna leave my computer overnight again, and hope for the best that the thingies get downloaded as much as possible. And yes! My episode 1 has finally downloaded finished - watched it. If you want a copy of it, let me know.. Heh. Tried searching in YouTubes as well.. But don't have any episodes there, besides the DVD special "Behind the Scenes" one.. Nothing much there you can say. And yes, the song "Sooner or Later" is the theme song of the show. Going to post up another song from the show next week. It's not really those songs that you can sing, just that the tune really gets stuck in your head easily.. You know what I mean..

I'm definitely looking forward for this coming weekend.. Gonna meet up with my friends again to chill out and have a good dinner at Marina Square if I'm not wrong. Pirates of Carribean 2 is finally out - most likely going to watch it with my classmates later today! Woot.. That's all for today.. It's 2am, and it's time to sleep! Peace out.

Had a huge quarrel with my sister yesterday, because of my stupid denial of fact. I was actually eating this yellow-flesh watermelon on the sofa, with the juice dripping all over the bed although I got place my hands below it to prevent it from doing so. In the end, tio scolded by her, but I just couldn't accept the truth somehow. Keep saying that it is cos of my hand wet... Must be cos of my stupid headache I have gotten from my sleep. Always have this bad temper everytime I take an afternoon nap. So don't pissed me off in any way man. The quarrel somehow got so huge till we're at the top of our voice sia.. You can actually say that my neighbours hear every word we said to each other.. Ahaha.. And that was when I snapped somehow. It's been ages since I last done so. The quarrel was very intense you know.. Shut myself in the spare mini-room and did some sort of reflection and stuffs, like yea.. questioning myself why did my sister do to deserve my respect and stuffs like that.. After that, I was kinda okay le. Thanks younger bro for being there man at the beginning. After a while, things kinda get alright when my sister came to apologise and stuffs.. Yea.. Emotional stuffs lar.. That was the particular reason I was so darn tired earlier today.. Bleh.

I simply hate life in Singapore as a teenager. Why? Because of the stress, the lack of freedom, and perhaps the lack of love. It is as if I'm a jail bird that has been trapped in cage for so long... Just by looking at Singapore's environment gives me the stress... Study, study, study... What's the point? The purpose of learning is to enrich your life, and not a burden. Bleh.

Why can't our lives be just as simple as those on TVs? That's almost everyone's dream teenage life I feel. Sometimes people wonder why we just couldn't be like the fictional characters. But yea, it's still only a tv show... Some mistakes and decisions that we made in our early life has really start to surface now.. I'm feeling just like the song "Boston" you are hearing now (if you never press stop)... as in the last part of the song... I am seriously sick of Singapore, tired of the weather and so on. Really can't wait to fly elsewhere to simply have fun. Yes, Singapore's our hometown alright - I think I'll love it only when I'm much older (like 30s? lol).

I really need something to spice up my life, but I know it's not here...

Yes, things are getting super-fied lately, especially the work load... I have like almost one project for each subjects, if only someone can save me from drowning (like doing them for me! heh.) ... Oh well.. Datelines are coming close, and I still haven't really got into the working mood yet. I really envy those students in the overseas. They simply looks as if they are having much more fun than we do. The stress level is just too high! They get to party and enjoy all they want... Bleh.

What did I do yesterday? Hm.. Pool at Lucky Plaza, dinner at "Pepper Lunch" in Taka, and finally "Superman" movie at Cineleisure. Small group of peeps can be quite fun you know.. When the group gets too big, the attention on you is much less you see.. Somehow I simply kept talking yesterday, till my friends buay tahan. LOL! The movie was okay lar you can say. The movie teach us something on science, which is fusion.. Amazing eh? Superman's son is actually immune to the Kryptonite.. This means that he's like invincible lor.. Anyway, today quite funny on the bus. We talk about how Superman "did" Louis.. Wouldn't his sperm be faster than the speed of sound? LOL! Like that sure die one ma.. Ahahaha.. From down there up to the brain and out. xD Oh yea.. I thought he's an alien? So why does he have like all the features of human as well? Funny... Superman can be such a stalker I think. Go to Louis' house and check her out. Another one is when she take the lift, he use x-ray eyes again to see her go up... What a stalker... Too dang tired now, yesterday reached home at 12.30am.. Then only sleep at 3am cos of stupid tutorials. I better head for my bed now. Ciaos!

"Life As We Know It" is one hell of a good show I have watched earlier today on Star World Channel 18. It's kind of an alternative version of the "The O.C" which I don't really like to watch. This show was made in 2004, but was only aired recently. It's showing the second episode on StarHub currently, so watch it before it's gone! The show is about....

high school life in a Seattle community, shown through the eyes of three different--yet similar--hormonal, sex-constantly-on-the-mind teen boys. Dino is the jock with secret sensitivity; Jonathan is the artist who sees life through a camera lens; and Ben is the 'A' student who will never make his parents happy. The three are fast friends, and always talk (and think) about their favorite subject: girls and sex with girls. The television series is based on British author Melvin Burgess' controversial novel "Doing It".

Sadly, this show was cancelled because it advertise teen sex in a way. That's the way man! Haiz.. What a huge mistake did ABC did. In the end, the 12th and 13th episode was not aired, and the last two episode was not even filmed. T.T You can really see an outcry of such mistake from here. It gets lotsa high ratings from TV viewers, with most of them demanding for a 2nd season. Oh well.. Just watch what I can ba.. Trying to download a couple of episodes from torrent currently.. It's a really really a must-see, even got StarHub's alert service to sms me when showing.. Hahaha..
