Malaysia.. Truly Asia?

Haze? Nah. It's just the usual cold Genting mist. Moving' up from the Awana hotel to the Genting Highlands, where dice rolls and jackpot sounds.

In the following post, I'm only going to talk about the images I have and maybe some other interesting things unrelated in them.

Updated with more photos.

One of the two pit-stop that we made during the long car trip to Genting. Had to endure several hours of journey each time. It took at least 6 or so to reach Kuala Lumpur, before head for the curvy, swervy mountain road.

Jackpot! We managed to hit the base camp.. Hahaha.. Forgot to took an image of our cosy hotel room... I kept on whining about not having an air-con in the room, when we entered it. But during the first night, I was already freezing my ass off, which prettty much shut my mouth since then. Didn't knew all Genting hotels don't have air-con de, especially since my last trip to Genting was like several years ago...

Because we had to wait roughly 1 hour for the transfer bus (which happens to go on a lunch break), we went to the activity centre or whatever you call it to look for activities. Played about 100+ arrows with my cousins... Siang Hui was the pro-est of them all. I know my aiming is pretty off... Don't really know how to aim exactly. Hahaha..

Waiting at the bus line... Buay tahan some Malaysians who just cut our queue, when we are boarding the bus. Somemore they keep asking their kids to chiong up... What's this country turning into...

Cable car! Snap this photo using my handy dandy phone. Alright.. All these photos are taken with my phone... We forgot bring our cameras along.. Wanted to squeeze all 9 people into the cabin, but the stupid personel insisted that 8 person was the maximum. In the end, my uncle had to joined the other cabin alone.

Up the hill... Down the hill.. And over again.. Creepy thoughts started to seep into my brain.. What if this and what if that. Hahaha.. It was sort of scary to look down, when we're at the peak height between the cabin and the ground. It's a looooong way down. And you might have noticed that these cabins are simply hooked onto the ropes.

Had about 4-5 rounds of Go-Kart Racing at the outdoor themepark. Really don't feel worth the wait of almost half an hour. Somemore I suay suay sit onto a slow poke go-kart... All you need to do is use your right hand, with your feet on the fuel.. And just keep it there till the end of the journey. So boring... *yawn*

Queueing up for the Spaceshot ride... That machine keeps farting loudly everytime it releases its pressure... My ears...

rrr.. I think my uncle took 4 of this picture. He didn't know if he had taken any then.. So we had to hold onto our smiles for quite some time, before we prepare to head up.

Welcome to Heaven!

Holding tight to the handles.. No way I'm letting it go... LOL!

Spaceshot! This was one hell of a ride. It is way better than the 'superman' thing, which just rotates here and there *yawn*. On our way up to the peak, we were like screaming our lungs out, particuarly when it stopped at the top (psst.. the view is spectacular!). "Oh my goosh..." Blah blah blah... Zooming our way down, I tried to cry out loud but somehow found myself couldn't. Too fast ba. Was gripping the handle super tightly with my body pushing against it upwards (so that I can feel less impact of it. xD). I should really try that next time again...

Spin spin lor. Then, end le. It was raining later that day. As such, most of the outdoor rides ceased to operate. Only those that have cover on top de was still running. And so we went to the "Tea Cup" and spin as fast as we could. So damn fun! Hahaha.. Also, we took the old car ride that circulates around the 'lake'. So darn fucking noisy that car. Apply brakes and you'll have some sort of clanking sound. Left with no other choices, we made our way to the hotel for cover and activities. Played the gun-shooting thing too. Uber lame that thing, though it looks cool and real. Why? Cos once you got your target, just hold the trigger and you'll aced all the way from then on.

This is what they call K-Box here in Malaysia. It's literally a box, whereby you hop into it and start singing. So many of these near the First World arcade, if I'm not wrong.

Day 2. My parents gave me and my brother the opportunity to drive this cabbie around the golf course.. across the bridge.. up the hill... We had to wack the balls from this patch of land to the other side of the field. Sweet... Only the last 18th hole was a good play by me. Well.. well.. Well well.. It took about 5-6 hours to complete the entire 18 holes golf course.

This is where the games begin..

Really bored waiting for the bus once again. Had to take complimentary tickets for the cable car rides as well. The bus will take us to the Genting Skyway, which we then use the tickets given. Lots of people were queueing this time round, mainly from China. Had to snake around the queues a couple of times, before we actually step-foot into the cabin.

On the day this picture was taken, it was supposedly time for indoor themepark games. However, we didn't played any of those then. Too childish for the indoor ones. And so, we played bowling and arcade instead.. Very awkard the way Malaysians play bowling btw. Back to topic, don't you think this is a nice aerial photo of the outdoor themepark? We managed to ride at least 80% of their thingies there. Only some of which isn't functioning then that we didn't take like the Mountain ride and the thing that doesn't have wheels. o.O! Bad description I know.. Ahahaha..

The fantastic Spaceshot in the outdoor themepark. I noticed that the themepark personel don't really check if you have the wristband that indicates you have purchased the all outdoor themepark rides. Can really see that they can't be bothered at all.

Our night journey back to Genting Skyway on a dark cable car cabin. The freakin' lights were spoilt, so we had to like sit in the dark for a couple of minutes down. It was pure fun with my relatives then. Oh yes, it was raining too you know. Creepy.

This is my auntie. And no, we didn't kidnap her or something. She was just too terrified of heights, so much so that she placed a black sweater over her head. Had a good time trying to make a fool out of her. You see.. She doesn't have any sense of security when it comes to things that doesn't have anything below it. And when she flies overseas, she will take the centre rows and would give up any window seats! That's just nuts. Who doesn't wants a window seat...

Once again, another waiting at the Genting Skyway. And yes, my hair's pretty messed up then. Or should I say it has always been that way. Boohoo. I'm thinking of straightening the curly back part of my hair... Hmmm..

We parked our Toyota's Fortuner car inside this member's area only, which is locked every night 8pm. And why the heck am I saying this? Really see no point. LOL! This calm day was when we went home, in which we were stuck in KL for 1-2 hours before we eventually found the "Exit" sign. Ahahaha.. It's weird that both direction of the highway has the word "KL" making us confuse where exactly to go. Later that day, we went to Melacca to look for this shop my mother wanted to visit, but couldn't find it eventually. Oh yar, the coffee shop there sell this "Space Bun" or "太空包", that tasted waaaayyy better than Singapore's Ya Kun Kaya Toast. The bread is simply soft and delicious. I bet you can topply Ya Kun with that bun... Dinner was at this Kampong Seafood Restuarant (in Johor Bahru) that I liked alot. Love their fish most that is deep-fried. Damn crispy! But the road to that place is so ulu (quiet and dark). No street lamps on the road to there. And did I mention that there was a frog in the female toilet bowl. LOL! My auntie got freaked out when she saw it, while she's doing her thing.

Okay, we were struggling to get bags of 9 people into the car. Tough feat. Not to forget that we also have to include our golf bags. It takes alot of engineering and designing to fit everything in place, and comfortably for everyone to sit. Hahaha...

"Nothing In My Way" by Keane

A turning tide
Lovers at a great divide
why d'you laugh
When I know that you hurt inside?

And why d'you say
It's just another day, nothing in my way
I don't wanna go, I don't wanna stay
So there's nothing left to say?
And why d'you lie
When you wanna die, when you hurt inside
Don't know what you lie for anyway
Now there's nothing left to say

A tell-tale sign
You don't know where to draw the line

And why d'you say
It's just another day, nothing in my way
I don't wanna go, I don't wanna stay
So there's nothing left to say
And why d'you lie
When you wanna die, when you hurt inside
Don't know what you lie for anyway
Now there's nothing left to say

Well for a lonely soul, you're having such a nice time
For a lonely soul, you're having such a nice time
For a lonely soul, it seems to me that you're having such a nice time
You're having such a nice time

For a lonely soul, you're having such a nice time
For a lonely soul, you're having such a nice time
For a lonely soul, it seems to me that you're having such a nice time
You're having such a nice time

Transfer Success!

I have managed to transferred my files & domain over to my new host Oryon Networks Singapore. If you ever want to apply for that host, do put me as the referrer under the email "platodino@gmail.com". This is because they have this referrer program, which will allow me to earn a one-time referrer fee of up to S$40. Ahahaha.. Although this plan may be much more expensive than my previous host (which is pretty fucked up, especially since I don't even know who is exactly hosting my website.), it offers quite a good service level agreement like a guarantee 1-hour technical support response (if not, a 5% refund can be requested!). What a deal I have gotten... For S$5 a month, I get extra 100MB and 99.9% uptime!

As for the Genting post, I think I'll do it during the weekend. Meanwhile, it's time for me to get back to my copying work that I have missed out on Monday. =.="

Back!

I'm finally back in Singapore! I shall fill you guys in with pictures tomorrow... As for now, I think I will just snuggle myself into my crib (really need this after the rough car trip!). Toodles!

It's Raining Man, Hallelujah!

After several days of unhealthy haze, it finally rained today! I guess it will clear out the haze for the time being. Indonesia really has no sense of responsibility. To think that one crazy VIP visitor (for the GlobalTronics) actually said that Singaporeans are not flexible; and that if they were to come to his company to look for job, he'll say no; but if an Indonesian comes, he'll say "very good!". What a full of shit. No wonder their country is pretty much corrupted. If you throw some money to the police there, I bet you can even ask them to clear the road for you to drive pass. Don't they know how much damage can a haze cause to the nation, and affect its economy? Really have no brains. And yet the palm oil companies carry on using the slash-and-burn... Hope justice will be served in no time..

Yesterday, we finally returned the blazer to the admin counter! Instead of receiving a scolding or some sort from the aunty for delaying for several weeks, she even congratulated us! Hehe... I tried to learn skating as well from my brother, whom was practising for the skating stunt competition. Really can't make it. Fell quite a number of times.. My knee cap is so darn stiff. LOL! Had a bad fall, which sort of injured my spine. But it's alright after awhile. Hahaha.. I sucks, and I know that...

Tomorrow, I will be leaving Singapore at 4.30 am for Awana Genting till Monday/Tuesday. Besides golfing, we are definitely heading up to the main Genting complex for theme park rides, casino, dinner etc. Talking about casino, I hope that I am old enough to enter it already. Should be able ba.

"Waiting On The World To Change" by John Mayer

Me and all my friends
We're all misunderstood
They say we stand for nothing
There's no way we ever could
Now we see everything is going wrong
With the world and those who lead it
We just feel like we don't have the means
To rise above and beat it

So we keep waiting (waiting)
Waiting on the world to change
We keep on waiting (waiting)
Waiting on the world to change
Its hard to be persistent
When we're standing at a distance
So we keep waiting (waiting)
Waiting on the world to change

Now if we had the power
To bring our neighbors home from war
They would've never missed a Christmas
No more ribbons on the door
When you trust your television
What you get is what you got
Cuz when they own the information ooohhh,
They can bend it all they want

So while we're waiting (waiting)
Waiting on the world to change
We keep on waiting (waiting)
Waiting on the world to change
It's not that we don't care
We just know that the party's there
So we keep waiting (waiting)
Waiting on the world to change

We're still waiting (waiting)
Waiting on the world to change
We keep on waiting (waiting)
Waiting on the world to change
One day our generation
Is gonna rule the population

So we keep on waiting (waiting)
Waiting on the world to change
Know we keep on waiting (waiting)
Waiting on the world to change
We keep on waiting (waiting)
Waiting on the world to change
Waiting on the world to change
Waiting on the world to change
Waiting on the world to change.

The Infocomm Story

Sunday was a family day out at the Singapore Expo for the Infocomm exhibition, which was my older brother (Freddy)'s idea. And so, he helped the entire family to pre-register online for 11am slot. Coincidentally, it was the time whereby the class wanted to meet up in Bukit Batok MRT station, so that they could go to Mr. Teong's mother's funeral. And yes, this was recommended by Dr. Ong. Don't really see anything wrong with this... I hereby extend my condolences to Mr. Teong's family.. Every beginning has an end. Well.. All I can say is that she's on the better side now, without having to suffer anymore...

Back to my story... The infocomm exhibition is about the past, present and future of Singapore's infocomm... Talking about how handphones, pagers, computer come about. What really interested me was all the futuristic stuffs like the cool fuel cell phone (which is suppose to last for months without charging it and have transparent circuit board!). There's also a product there whereby you can use your hand as the mouse to scroll the... let's say.. the map, just like what was shown in the movie "The Island". There's also exhibitors from companies there to showcase their product... One of which, gave me the opportunity to try Windows Vista on their mega huge screen, and it was fantastic! Simply loved it, when I came into contact with it... Even their games have changed its style! Hahaha...

At the Infocomm exhibition

If I'm not wrong, those are Sony speakers with long durable wires attached from the ceiling to create that sort of new look. Freakin' hell got wacked by it, when my brother threw it.. Lol.

This part of the exhibition talked about mainly computer-related stuff.. It prompted me to remember about the Y2K bug, that only affected a few minor companies.. It was sort of a year of uncertainty, whereby they scare that the computers/systems might crash or what. There's also the bulky colourful iMacs, which was pretty cool to have in my primary school at that time.

This is some sort of virtual game, where you must use your hands to push the virtual ball to the designated area. Some sort of family group game.. Couldn't really make it through the third stage. LOL! Sad..

Useless structure. Just peep your eyes into one of the holes, or use your ears to listen to the stuff.

You can watch a video clip here, which will require you to pull 6 rings first in order to start the show. I guess they are trying to make it into an interactive stuff.. Really like the design of this place though..

The uncle who guided us throughout the entire journey was good.. He certainly didn't have to do that, which the other guides didn't. Good service uncle! Oh yar.. And his pay is 8 bucks per hour leh. So good... Dammit. And from the looks of it, it's a darn easy job. After this entire exhibition, my mother suddenly said she wanna go see the Anlene one at Hall 5. *diaoz* It's bloody hell for women and ah-peks one lor. So my brothers and I went to City Harvest there and chill out. They sort of rented the entire hall of Max Pavillion on Sundays. I really can't believe they could actually sustain the cost of renting one that big.. Especially the electric bill for the air-con! Anyhoo, it's been a long time since I went to a chapel service, which was usually held on Wednesday in secondary school. Okie.. We were sitting outside the actual hall, which was for latecomers. LOL! But there's still air-con and seats ma. I'm a free-thinker btw. My younger brother (Siang Hui) attends this church every Sunday.

Later that night, we went to catch a movie at Tampines Mall. Since I already watched "Rob-B-Hood", I managed to drag Freddy along to watch "World Trade Centre" with me while the others caught that movie. It's a really touching movie WTC.. How the two trapped guys under the rubbles tried to keep each other awake (since if you fall asleep, you might not know whether you will wake up again aka dead.)... If I were one of them, I would have just died in there.. I kinda have claustrophobia, which is the fear of enclosed space. This show is about the human spirit that stood up in the days of darkness - Heroism. How ordinary people are willing to put their lives in risk to save the others. The main focus of the movie isn't about terrorism, but heroism. When you suddenly feel that you might lose someone, you may find yourself going through things that he/she have touched but you have never touched before.. to recall how beautiful things were in the past. 2996 people fell into victims in this horrendous attack... Can you actually imagine the losses? I got to admit that I teared (not cry ar!) during the movie itself.. In conclusion, I give this movie 4/5 stars! A really good tribute to those victims...

Vivamaniacs

No more work for me! This is what freedom smells like... No more punishments for my feet, which have been aching for days. But the journey I experienced just within this 4 days was unforgettable, especially the fun group of people I have worked with. I suppose I drank the most number of Starbucks and Häagen-Dazs in just one week. Oh yes, I even saw an old friend of mine - Barry Toa. Still can remember his full name after so long.. Hahaha.. This is because his register number is always in front of mine in my primary school days. Back to the story... On the last day, we wanted to celebrate at Pizza Hut, but there wasn't any vegetarian pasta anymore le. Thanks to veggie Si Ying, we left the restaurant after sitting in there for quite some time without ordering anything. Haha.. Actually, it's an excuse for us to run off since we couldn't really decide on what to eat there.. This was my very first experience to actually walk off just like that! Really didn't know where to hide my face then.. Looking forward for the next event with you guys...

Today, I went down to Clark Quay with my mum and sister to have a look at the "Go Fly Kite" store at the Riverside Point. They sell those remote-controlled kites with no strings attached to them. I thought it would have simply cost 100 bucks or so for it. But noooo.. it cost $600 in total just for one set! That's like nuts... Who on earth in the right mind will buy some thing that looks so filmsy at that price. When you are forking out your money, you always see if it looks "worth it" or not. But this one surely fails on that category. This company really needs to reform its marketing strategy... Nevertheless, I spotted something cool today. It's a beer-making restuarant called "Brewerkz". They actually have this built-in plant inside to provide them with unlimited flow of fresh beer! Would really like to try it there someday, even though I don't really drink... *looks at you* Their food looks quite fine to me alright..

Vivocity is such a mess on the weekends. At the moment I step into HarbourFront MRT station from the train, my mum and I wanted to turned back already. There was just a sea of people everywhere! I even had to queue for a long while just to tap my ez-link card.. In the end, we just took a quick walk around the Vivocity and somehow found ourselves at HarbourFront Centre. All the restuarants were totally packed with people, so we settled ourselves at the foodcourt.. Anyhoo, I thought that Vivocity will 'kill' HarbourFront Centre but stealing its customers. However, from the looks of this, both are surely doing well.. I bet Suntec is going to be much quieter nowadays, when the Vivocity officially opens this December.

Free-Runners

It's a video of "Jump" by Madonna. Free-runners are so damn cool. Jump from buildings to buildings, doing all the stunts....

I have been too busy lately with my work at Suntec for the "Globaltronics" event. It was a good time with the people there at the job.. But I had to stand and walk from 10am to 6pm. This means a total of 8 hours? Yea. That sucks. Don't really have time to sit down, except during breaks and the counter registration stuffs. Dammit. Why am I a usher... I type fast alright. My black shoes have broken down again for the past few days. Every night come back home have to glue them together. It's time to get a new pair! I shall go back to my sleep now. If not, tomorrow I'll be sure dead.

Starlight Cinema + Botak Jones!

Saturday

When I was at the Starlight Cinema in Padang with my brother, we didn't know that the PSI had shot to the unhealthy level. But all I know was that it's damn hazy!

One of the first few people who arrived there at 6.15pm... Gave us free Nokia mats and Nivea inflatable balls to rest on.

The winning ticket that worth $30! Entry for 2 people... They chopped some sort of stamp on our hands, which was smudged off even before the movie started.

Things is starting to warm up! Don't you think the balloon looks like a moon? I really like the scene from here. If only, there is no haze. And you could have watched the stars too!

The Dubious Brothers performed live with a couple of songs. One song they made up was pretty too rocky for this sort of mood. There was one funny moment whereby this black American scolded the lead singer for revealing what's going to happen in the movie like Jean is going to become the Phoenix etc. LOL! He said, "Can someone turn the mike off?" Ahahhaha..

The small food stall was available there from chicken wings to popcorns to nasi lemak, which call it a "Food Village". The village is so damn small. LOL! And their sandwiches and burger there is sort of cold sia. =.=" Shouldn't have bought it. Anyhoo, me and my younger brother brought in alcoholic drinks in and some BK burgers. Because we don't have the bottle opener, we had to buy it from the Giant in Marina Square... Zzzz.. $9.50 for that. LOL!

The first movie is over! And it's time for a 20minutes break. Sian.

Round 2! This time the court house has turned off its lightings... Also, quite a number of people left to catch their transport home... This means more space for us! WEeeee...

Some free photoshoot that the Nokia staffs took. We were forced to take photo with these X-men characters sia. Hahaha.. And guess what.. They are suppose to promote the phone's camera function, but the picture turned out to be a little fuzzy. So much so that they even said sorry to my brother when they collected it. Rofl.

Sunday

No GC outing.. Boohoo. So my alternate activities popped in straight away! Golfing before our dinner at the Seletar... Crappy golf range, but that's the nearest to our house..

My sister saw this advertisement on the TV, and decided that we should take a visit there. Luckily, we managed to find a table without chairs. Then have to cope from other tables here and there.

We waited for more 1.5hours just for the food to arrive! How exhausting can that be.. Anyhoo, my brothers and I made a funky film.. I'll show it to you guys next time. The Botak Jones' menu is darn funny. The way they describe their food with crude jokes at times. LOL! So damn longwinded their stories.. Aahhaha.. Their western food is comparable to NYDC's one, and yet cheap. But I don't think it's worth the wait of 1.5 hours...

Happy Mooncake Festival!

My house is so quiet. I can only hear the water noises coming from the pond outside the house... Although it's mooncake festival today, there wasn't any party this year. *haiz* Parents went out for business dinner.. Siblings hang out with their own friends.. Only my grandparents were at home with me. What did we do? We literally lightened up mooncake spirit by putting up a few laterns in the garden... Normally each year we would invite our relatives over to our house, and chat like there's no tomorrow while we enjoy the mooncakes and tea. After that, either they will play mahjong or go to the park with the kids. But the problem is.. everyone have grown. No more kiddish stuffs le. I hate growing up at times. Responsiblity comes in, and other shit stuffs. Zzz.. I guess this year we didn't celebrate the festival is because of the exams my cousins are going to take.. PSLE and "O" Level. Hopefully, that tradition cycle will carry on the next year..

Yesterday, I did something I don't usually do. I actually went to meet up with my online friends - RongFang and TS! The probability of me doing that last time was almost 0%. Somehow I felt that I really do have to cherish friendships that I have all around me... So *BAM* I went out with them to collect the Starlight Cinema tickets at Tanjong Pagar, then went to Maxwell to eat some stuffs. Dreamer was there too, since he is like our tour guide. He's "地盘" you can say. Talk suan talk suan, until it was time for me to go back home for a HabboX meeting. During the meeting, I recalled that I have gotten this email about my upcoming job this coming week.. Blah. Then have to make certain changes to my interview slots etc, which was pretty pai-seh. =.=" About the job.. I'll be either the registration crew or the helpers for the organiser of GlobalTronics event next week. Monday got briefing for it at Suntec - Bleh!

Anyhoo, my parents sort of have a last minute arrangement to go Genting Highlands on the 21st Oct. This means I wouldn't be going for school on the first day.. Woohooo! Gonna live in Awana hotel, the place where you can golf your way to the skys. Heh. Not sure if my dad is planning to golf there or what though... See how...

Grey's Anatomized

My Korean fever has been subdued, and so did my fever and flu. And I feels damn freakin' good! Just that I'm suffering from what I call "buttache" now... You should know why.. Hahaha.. I'm so fanatic over "Grey's Anatomy" lately! It's not just about opening someone's chest etc. In each episode, there's a different meaning to them, for instance, crossing the line. I'm currently on the 4th episode of Season 1. SOoooo gonna finish this and season 2 by the end of the holidays! Hopefully, season 3 too (but need to download this)!

Anyhoo, my favourite drama series is back - LOST! U.S. is now airing the season 3 premiere - A Tale of Two Cities. I'm just anxiously waiting for the torrent file to be released, so that I can crack more mysteries about the Island. Too bad abc doesn't allow people outside the U.S. to stream its online episodes... I really see no reason why they can't just allow.. Argh!

Now, I'm simply troubled as to whether I should dry-clean my blazer or not. My other team members has yet to do so... Hur hur.. Keep bothering the others about it. Blah! I guess I'll do it tomorrow morning when I'm heading out to meet up with Rong Fang and TS. Meeting up with them so that we can collect the pair of Starlight Cinema tickets I won from Habbo together. Not too sure of the location of that place as well. There's apparently no bus that goes to that place directly. Have to walk quite a distance from Tanjong Pagar to there. Now, I have left two choices of movies for the tickets - "The Fast And The Furious: Tokyo Drift " or "X2: X-Men United & X-Men: The Last Stand". Both watch le. So how? HMmmmm..

"How To Save A Life" by The Fray

Step one you say we need to talk
He walks you say sit down it's just a talk
He smiles politely back at you
You stare politely right on through
Some sort of window to your right
As he goes left and you stay right
Between the lines of fear and blame
And you begin to wonder why you came

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

Let him know that you know best
Cause after all you do know best
Try to slip past his defense
Without granting innocence
Lay down a list of what is wrong
The things you've told him all along
And pray to God he hears you
And pray to God he hears you

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

As he begins to raise his voice
You lower yours and grant him one last choice
Drive until you lose the road
Or break with the ones you've followed
He will do one of two things
He will admit to everything
Or he'll say he's just not the same
And you'll begin to wonder why you came

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

How to save a life
How to save a life

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

BAD-minton

Why bad? Because I'm sick right now. Nothing to do with the actual badminton outing... Flu + Slight Fever = *yucks* Must be the darn weather. So freakin' hazy. Dammit Sumatra! I was cycling with my older brother who was on skates to Punggol Park yesterday midnight. Had a pretty good time doing it at night, though some people might say it's creepy.. One weirdo was like playing basketball at a bridge then! I wonder if he's even a human. Hahha.. Who would play basketball at that time one? Somemore at a bridge. What if it drops down into the stinky 'river', then how? No brains one. Back to main point, it turned out that yesterday's PSI was the peak! Zzz.. Some crappy pollutants must be inside me, doing some nonsense. Anyhoo, my throat was like feeling salty for the past few days.. I swear I didn't touch any salty food. Hate those!

Badminton was all the way from 2pm to 5pm. Cornie is so demanding! Hahaha.. "Can aim higher anot?" etc. Maybe two AS students play badminton is like that one... Wasn't actually in the state of mind for badminton game from the start. My brain was like dead - Couldn't receive any messages from all my five senses! Ryan pro liao lor. All-rounder. Hahaha.. Trash us from bowling to badminton to pool.. Proficiency in left and right hands to play wor.. LOL! Amelia came all the way down from Orchard to here and watch us play badminton.. o.o Okay lar, she got touch the racket for a couple of minutes. Hahhaa.. Was surprised when she said that she didn't know where's the library! Oh my goosh... How many months have you studied in TP may I ask you.. Heh. =X

Dinner was at Tampines Mall foodcourt. Argh! Should have gone further to eat dinner.. Sick of tampines.. Once school open liao, confirm get to see it le. Followed next was a movie at Century Mall - "Rob-B-Hood". As expected, the show is full of actions and funny scenes. Just didn't quite like the prolonged 'sad' part. The show could have wrapped up better at the end, since some parts are quite ridiculous. I shall give this movie 3 stars! Not bad liao wor.. Hahaha..

Time to shower... Eeeekk!

Last Day of September.

Group photo! Sheeze... Cornie doesn't even know how to use the timer function on her own camera... Luckily, got this genius to teach her.

Phototaking-crazy time! Placed the camera in one of the pots at the Esplanade rooftop, and tried to squeeze all our heads into the picture. Only managed to take this almost perfect picture after a couple of times. Ryan stop hogging the photo space leh! Lol.

No idea what to do. Hahaha.. Did a couple of punching pictures of Ting Ting, but all of them came out not really that nice I think. Hahhahaha..

If only that acts like a guillotine... Muahhahaha..

Merlion. Wanted to put up the picture of Corni and the merlion. But too obscene leh. LOL! Kidding...

I'm Lovin' It...

How did my weekend went? Well... On Saturday, a group of the Shanghai Knights (Ryan, Ting Ting, Eileen, Cornie) and I went to Marina Square to eat/talk/bowl/pool/eat (in sequence!). And man was my bowling sucksss.. Keep throwing the balls to the right somehow in the beginning. Only got the hang of it till the end, with a strike and spares. Ryan is so damn pro. No wonder he dare to challenge his teachers before... Hahaha.. But heard that they still tio trash. LOL! Eileen is such a hacker. The system kept gaving her three turns each time! If not, she wouldn't have beaten me. I think the cheat code name for bowling is "EEL". Ahahaha.. Really enjoyed my time talking to them on that day, although it's a pretty small group. Small group means no one will be left out of the conversation!

After our dinner, we went to the rooftop of esplanade and talk and talk and talk.. till our bums gets freakin' pain. Kinda went to "sleep mode" by then somehow.. Too tired ba. But when it comes to taking photos, I'm the best choice you can make! *cough cough* Hahahaha.. Still waiting for Cornie to send over the award-winning photographs by me.. Heh. We also walked all the way to the Merlion there, so that Cornie can take picture of her drinking the water splew out of the Merlion. Was telling Ryan that she might as well go to the male toilet. LOL! Such a meanie.. *slaps myself* Maybe too high ba.... ... ...

Today leh.. I finally updated my bankbook to see if the money have been cashed in. Thanks Trixie! And my grandma took so little photos from her 10-day trip sia.. Wasted! She only took pictures that have her friends and her in it. No sceneries one.. Zzzz.. Was surprised by how my grandpa said that it was his 80th birthday today this morning. It was so sudden. It's like "Oh yar, today's my birthday". Then, everyone had to rush and buy the ingredients for dinner etc. And call up all my relatives... Happy 80th Birthday Grandpa! I love you sooo much.. If not because of you who brought me up, I wouldn't be who I am today. Hope you finally win the top prize for your crazy-buying of 4Ds and Totos... So yea.. My relatives invaded my house and had a pretty good time together. I still can't believe how my auntie pamper his child sia. Buy him the latest handphone and even a laptop that has the biometric function de... And guess what? He's only in primary 5! Argh. But cannot really blame them fully for spoiling him.. He's their only child.. Their first child died sometime after giving birth due to complications.. Didn't really know that till my mum told me a couple of years back. Poor Tianqi still have to mug even when she's here to relax. It's her PSLE this year.. All the best! I'm sure you can do it.. Time really flies to see how much they and myself have grown over the years every gathering. Really hop time will pause for one moment to let me catch a breath. I don't wish to waste any time I have that I could be used on my family, friends and relatives... That's life. Don't regret it only after you lose the moments with your loved ones...

I have caught the Korean fever! Thanks to "My Lovely Samsoon"...
