Vivamaniacs

No more work for me! This is what freedom smells like... No more punishments for my feet, which have been aching for days. But the journey I experienced just within this 4 days was unforgettable, especially the fun group of people I have worked with. I suppose I drank the most number of Starbucks and Häagen-Dazs in just one week. Oh yes, I even saw an old friend of mine - Barry Toa. Still can remember his full name after so long.. Hahaha.. This is because his register number is always in front of mine in my primary school days. Back to the story... On the last day, we wanted to celebrate at Pizza Hut, but there wasn't any vegetarian pasta anymore le. Thanks to veggie Si Ying, we left the restaurant after sitting in there for quite some time without ordering anything. Haha.. Actually, it's an excuse for us to run off since we couldn't really decide on what to eat there.. This was my very first experience to actually walk off just like that! Really didn't know where to hide my face then.. Looking forward for the next event with you guys...

Today, I went down to Clark Quay with my mum and sister to have a look at the "Go Fly Kite" store at the Riverside Point. They sell those remote-controlled kites with no strings attached to them. I thought it would have simply cost 100 bucks or so for it. But noooo.. it cost $600 in total just for one set! That's like nuts... Who on earth in the right mind will buy some thing that looks so filmsy at that price. When you are forking out your money, you always see if it looks "worth it" or not. But this one surely fails on that category. This company really needs to reform its marketing strategy... Nevertheless, I spotted something cool today. It's a beer-making restuarant called "Brewerkz". They actually have this built-in plant inside to provide them with unlimited flow of fresh beer! Would really like to try it there someday, even though I don't really drink... *looks at you* Their food looks quite fine to me alright..

Vivocity is such a mess on the weekends. At the moment I step into HarbourFront MRT station from the train, my mum and I wanted to turned back already. There was just a sea of people everywhere! I even had to queue for a long while just to tap my ez-link card.. In the end, we just took a quick walk around the Vivocity and somehow found ourselves at HarbourFront Centre. All the restuarants were totally packed with people, so we settled ourselves at the foodcourt.. Anyhoo, I thought that Vivocity will 'kill' HarbourFront Centre but stealing its customers. However, from the looks of this, both are surely doing well.. I bet Suntec is going to be much quieter nowadays, when the Vivocity officially opens this December.
