Burning Midnight Oil...

Projects are taking my sleep away lately. For the past two days, I have been sleeping at 4am, while having to drag myself up from my bed at 7am just for school.. This means that I have effectively slept only 3 hours a day (excluding the afternoon naps that I take occasionally.. lol.)! Well.. At least 2 projects are over now... CSAS and UO2.. All I have to deal with now is PSLP & PIA project and 2 lab reports (upcoming PCI + PIA)... Argh! What a festive season this is.. Talking about this.. I think I never go to town for like at least a month already. I'm sure that all the decorations are all up and ready for Xmas shoppers to grab-and-go their items. Hehe.. My parents asked me what I want for Christmas.. Hmm... But I myself don't even know what! Yikes. So unprepared for this Xmas...

Well done Alex for the UO2 project.. You really put in alot of effort, even though you really got my nerve at the printing shop for being so fussy like a women (that "aunty" also say so lor). LOL! Really like the final product that we had produced... Kudos! 6 bucks for a mini-booklet quite alright.. Didn't know it was so tedious to actually make a booklet like that.. Have to undergo 30 minutes of trial-and-error to get our final product. Hahaha.. Good job team! Looking forward to the upcoming presentation....

I was a fool. I was a fool.
My regrets were too late too. I know that it can't be turned back.
I know that I can't see you too.
I was so wrong, I'm so sorry.
I didn't get to say then, instead I was just being rotten.
So I'm here now pleading for forgiveness with worry
I'm a fool
Because of my pride I'm ruining myself with alcohol
and the bitter taste of cigarette smoke.
I cry my eyes out all day because I still love you
You and I, we both are like fools.
Don't be like that, think about it.
Think about what it took us to get here
Think about it again, you're going to regret it.
I was so wrong, I'm really sorry
I didn't get a chance to say then, instead I was just being rotten.
So I'm here now pleading for forgiveness with worry
I'm a fool
Because of my pride I'm ruining myeslf with alcohol
and the bitter taste of cigarette smoke.
I cry my eyes out all day because I still love you
You and I, we both are like fools.
I can't live a moment without you.
I still cry even no matter how I drink or if I cut my hair.
I'm a fool
Because of my pride I'm ruining myself with alcohol
and the bitter taste of cigarette smoke.
I cry my eyes out all day because I still love you
You and I, we both are like fools.
Don't ruin yourself anymore...

85% of Casino Royale

Villian 1 attempts to chop off Bond's balls, before villian 2 appears and killed him. In the end, villian 2 sets free Bond from the horrendous ordeal of getting whipped down there by villian 1. So why did villian 2 do so?

*BOOM!* Suddenly, the screening ceased. What the hell is going on man! After a short while, one GV staff came in and said that they will continue the show in 10-20 minutes time. So yea.. We (Jeremy, Shaun, Soo Chin, Zai Wei & I) thought it's okay, since we can have our so-called toilet break. But before we left our seats, another dude came in and said that they are experiencing some sort of power shortage or what shit and that we would have to go to the damn counter to collect our "complimentary tickets" as our refund. Zzzz...

That's the story for today. So if you were to ask me "Did I watched Casino Royale?", I can only reply that "I watched Casino Royale half-way". Don't know to say if this is a good thing or not, since we can use the complimentary tickets for any movies at any theatres. Let's use it to watch another movie next time ba guys. No more movie subsidies from me man! Heh. I guess I'll just have to download the movie, and watch the 15 minutes ending. Hahaha.. By the way, I went to snip my hair today for a "clean cut" look. >.< Heart pain sia when I saw the hairdresser cut the amount of hair... LOL! Was intending to go for straight perm or some sort, but decided to go for a cheap and faster way instead.. Well well..

What Tree Did You Fall From?

Got my brother to forward me this cool chain letter which can predict one's character quite well I feel although not all exactly true. Anyhoo, I'm a Cedar Tree from this chart!

Cedar Tree (Confidence) -- of rare strength, knows how to adapt, likes unexpected presents, of good health, not in the least shy, tends to look down on others, self-confident, a great speaker, determined, often impatient, likes to impress others, has many talents, industrious, healthy optimism, waits for the one true love, able to make quick decisions.

Self-confident and good speaker? Depends on situations ba. I surely know how to adapt well, which is so true (i think?)! But it is more of 'willing' to adapt to things ba... When I made my decision to go poly, instead of the conventional ACSian choice of going to JCs (Opps to the school's statistics!). It's so unlike what that Ong had said about me boohoo-ing to my mummy if I were to go for OSIP.. Zzz.. Not in the least shy.. Sort of. Tends to look down on others... Trying to change that now.. And who doesn't like to impress others? Hmmm.. Wait for the one true love? Maybe that's the reason why I'm not really into any relationships hur hur... Do I make quick decisions? Nah. Tend to hestitate alot, especially when it's about food. Haha.

Now, it's your turn. =)

Find your birthday and then find your tree. This is really cool and somewhat accurate. Then send it to your friends, including the one that sent it to you, so they can find out what tree they fell from.

"Space Travel" by Yellowcard

I heard a voice last night
It said wake up and open your eyes
Wake up, walk out tonight
Cause she don't care if you're dead or alive

She moves like beams of light
Straight through this universe in my head
Where I get peace of mind
I'm free from the stupid things that I said
She's all in my head

Did I get lost while I was gone?
I traveled space for much too long
But there's a planet that I have found
And you are far away for now

Somewhere behind her eyes
Some supernatural energy takes me for quite the ride
Across time where I defy gravity
Or this energy

Did I get lost while I was gone?
I traveled space for much too long
But there's a planet I have found
And you are gone away for now

What do we do now
We wait
For what
For her to come back
I don't think she's coming back
So
I'm sick of waiting

Did I get lost while I was gone?
I traveled space for much too...

Did I get lost while I was gone?
I traveled space for much too long
But there's a planet I have found
And you are far away (far away)
You are far away
You are far away for now

Motor Show 2006

Sexy cars, beautiful models. This perfect couple makes it all right for Motor Show 2006. However, some major car makers are missing from this show such as Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, and Volkswagen, which is quite a disappointment to all the visitors I guess... We got to take a peek into the future, and managed to steal a look (keke.. more than one) at the million-dollar babies - Lamborghini and Ferrari.

So are you ready for Motor Show 2006?

When the hot babes got reeled in to pose with Lamborghini, everyone drewed out their cameras to take their pictures... This ang moh really knows which position is the best for which car. *woot woot*

Dammit. Each of this hot burning car cost at least 1 million plus.. Imagine hitting the acceleration from 0 to 100km/h in just 3 to 4 seconds! Whew! That is sure fast...

The featured car on Straits Times with the red star on the front. If I ever become a billionaire, I'm sooo gonna get one of these toys! Another wishful thinking.. LOL!

Red hot chilli pepper Ferrari. Find it pretty plain as compared with the cool colours Lamborghini got to offer. So reddish.

I hope this model ain't that heavy. Hahahaha.. 3 models for this car alone. Wow? Good performance car btw.

There's a paparazzi taking a photo of my mother! Ahahaha.. Stalker alert. This motobike is so like the common bike Malaysians use back there.

Have you tried riding a moving tomb before? Well.. You can get to do so, when you purchase this motorcycle even before you die! *choy* It's supposed to be a luxury bike.

A real bad hair day for me. Buay tahan sia. And this bike boy image really don't suit me well. Next!

Viva La Bam! Those blasting speakers are so damn cool. I bet you can wake the entire neighbourhood if you max the volume... This are quite like those shown on the show "Pimp My Ride", which has a international version lately. Hope to see it in Singapore!

Toyota's exhibition area.

This is one of the most futuristic car I have ever seen with my own eyes. Although the front of the car looks weird (especially that logo), the backside of it is so sexy!

They actually build this thing to show the internal cables and motors of the car. Cool.

I like the transparent roof. And this beast looks ferocious...

Beep! Beep! Incoming future President.. LOL!

This girl is really hot. Every guys there were taking lots of photos with her, while the other models on the cars beside didn't really have anyone to do so. Damn chio I tell you.. Too bad the picture I took is somewhat weird due to the angle I took it. She wasn't looking at my camera phone lar.. Cos there were so many professionals around.

Orangey car makes way to the new era. But don't think it's comfortable to sit in there though.

It's not really beautiful. But it's unique alright. Just like the Sentosa IR proposals aka Atlantis Sentosa by Kerzner CapitaLand, which looks like a crushed thrown-away paper. LOL!

This is a renewed version of the first Suzuki car. Considering that it is build for only 2 seaters, you can consider this rather spacious already. So damn cute wor!

Anyone care for an F1 racing here in Singapore?

Honda's exhibition area.

Lamborghini still rocks my socks. I wonder if buy car get girl free... *drools*

"Digital Love" by Daft Punk

Last night I had a dream about you
In this dream I'm dancing right beside you
And it looked like everyone was havin' fun
The kind of feeling I've waited so long

Don't stop come a little closer
As we jam the rhythm gets stronger
There's nothing wrong with just a little little fun
We were dancing all night long

The time is right to put my arms around you
You're feeling right
You wrap your arms around too
But suddenly I feel the shining sun
Before I knew it this dream was all gone

Ooh I don't know what to do
About this dream and you
I wish this dream comes true

Ooh I don't know what to do
About this dream and you
We'll make this dream come true

Why don't you play the game?
Why don't you play the game?

Pretendence.

I certainly feel things have already changed. I find myself trying to pretend that everything was perfectly fine, and nothing has ever happened. But things are different now alright. I feel pretty awkard at times when we were having dinner at the Sakae Sushi to sort-of celebrate Su Hua's birthday. By the way... Happy Birthday, Su Hua!

Look at the twin sisters! Pei Shan's sister was there, after being conned by her. Mastermind: Us. Heh.

Haiz.. When the class was discussing with the UO2 groupings, I was standing behind the class with Wei Liang and the rest, trying to play no part in this affair. In the end, somehow Yuan Long himself got caught himself in it also. He's already pretty moody somehow that day. I found myself pulled in, when I wanted to clarify somethings with her about Shahrez, because he himself feels pretty frustrated to whether to create a group for the Malays for sympathy sake, or to follow his heart and join our group. But instead, she claimed that I think she was poaching Shahrez over to her group (which I seriously don't care - it was Alex's idea to get him over anyhoo). What's saddening was to hear Wei Lian telling me not to make her cry, after I had done so to Pei Shan and Su Hua. Speechless I was, while I tried not to tear then. "Where I go wrong?" I told myself... All I can recall the day before was that I was just furious about the "Rejected" protest, which eventually spark of a chain of arguement about the groupings and its relevance. Apparently, this silly issue have hurt many hearts and caused lots of discontent within the class. I'm sorry to those whom I have hurt by my words. I'm sorry for overblowing the issue. I'm sorry...

Whew.

Last Sunday was the worst nightmare I ever had for an outing. Bad luck fell upon the group of us who went to East Coast to celebrate Gillian's birthday. First was that Donald crashed into a bloody Chinese foreign worker, and literally bent the wheel of that dude's bike. He was learning how to ride a bike you see.. And had to chiong, so that he wouldn't topple down. Still can't believe that he doesn't know how to ride a damn bike, when he's like rather active in sports one. Diaoz. In the end, we wasted our bike rental to spend time argueing with that idiot and Donald compensated him 19 bucks for the filmsy wheel of his (+ pedal, which came off and shoved back in). Next was that we were waiting for the last bus at bus stop (to go home), outside the east coast food court or watever you call that place. After waiting for several minutes, the last bus came and sped off in front of us. Stupid lor! It was the only bus that was servicing that bus stop, and it actually didn't bother to stop or what. But yeaa.. i can still say the day sort of alright ba.. We should do that chilli game sometime soon.. :D

Had a quarrel with a group of my classmates earlier today.. I just feel that they should have voiced their opinions earlier about the grouping for UO2 on the day itself we decided, rather than wait till the next day to settle it. If you are unhappy with the groupings, voice it out. Don't make swop changes to the so-called groupings, and make us assume that you have agreed with it. It's really over the board to write the word "Rejected" all over the paper itself instead of signing their signatures, which pisses me personally. I don't think it's funny. I bet that Alistair himself was feeling that too, when I spoke to him about it at first. Now, he have to get another freakin' piece of paper or erase all those stuffs. What sort of respect do you have for him as the new class monitor? It's totally unacceptable that to give the reason that we had agreed to draw lots on Friday, and not yesterday so it was invalid.. Then, why didn't you all say so earlier? To tell the truth, I have persuaded Alistair repeatedly to do it as soon as possible, since the UO2 project was given out so that we can get our hands onto the project soon. 3 weeks for the project isn't alot of time. Not only that, it's really a huge trouble for Alistair to write a customise message to each group about the grouping and the problems, and send it to everyone else, when the effort comes to naught. Also, the balloting was absolutely fair. What's more the top players of the 'game' is evenly spreaded I would say.

[Retracted a statement here, so as not to offend anyone while at the same time it is rather contrary to the main point I am trying to say which is to speak up...]

I guess we'll be having another balloting tomorrow, which I hope this matter will close by itself somehow. I certainly don't mind redrawing those things again. So in conclusion, if you guys ever want a re-ballot next time, say so on the spot and don't wait for everything to happen le then ask for changes.

Going back to my tutorials...

This is Life.

Dance like no one's watching.

Sing like no one's listening.

Work like you don't need the money.

Love like you've never been hurt before.

Live like there's no tomorrow

How I wish I can do exactly what is mentioned in this poem from the "My Name is Kim Sam-Soon" korean drama series... I'm sure everyone would like to be the main character in a fairy tale story, but it's really sort of a fat hope thing. There will always be stress around. There will always be boredom around. There will always be worries around. I need changes in my life to make it more exciting and more life, but it has been like this forever somehow - always going with the flow. Bleh. You get my point.

"Clear Spot" by Pernice Brothers

I feel better now you're gone
A minute in the sunlight
Can take away a whole life
Still, there's something about you

Once or twice
Everything was lined up straight
There's nothing you could ever trust
Something about you

Hear the clear spot
Did you think that I would call
Cause sometimes I don't feel
Like talking at all

I'm better, now you're gone
A minute in the sunlight
Is nothing you could ever trust
Something about you

Hear the clear spot
Did you think that I would call
Cause sometimes I don't feel
Like talking at all

I'm better, now you're gone
A minute in the sunlight
Is nothing you could ever trust
Something about you

There's something about you (x8)

Timetable at Full Swing.

With the timetable at full swing now, I can hardly find time to blog lately. But it isn't as bad as compared to some of my classmates who are having CDS... 2 hours break just for a 15 minutes lesson! *sniggers* I really do hate the Monday and Tuesdays - going for lectures that can bore you to death or even learning nothing (alright, I'm too dumb to understand it).

I watched two movies over the the past few days - The Guardian & The Prestige. I'm sure we will be looking forward for more movies that start with "The" this and that... I like the meaning behind "The Guardian", which shows us the side of the coast guards - Bravery, team spirit and dedication. Don't think there's any other movie that portrayed them so well. I can't help, but to say that Punk'd fellow Ashton Kutcher did a very convincing performance for his share of role, as a newbie rising to be one of the best rescue swimmer in the records. "So Others May Live". This movie gets 4.5/5 stars!

With the free Gold Class tickets to GV Vivocity (thanks Alex!), I was given the golden opportunity to experience the Gold Class cinema for my very first time... Managed to drag along Eileen to join me with the movie "The Prestige". Who doesn't want a free trip to Gold Class cinema? But apparently, lots of people were busy on that day.. And it's so last minute ba. The Gold Class have a private lounge for you to chill before and after the movie, which is good for entertaining purposes. The seats were excellent, which allows you to recline to a comfortable position to view the show. They even provided blanket for you to use in the theatre! There's also a usher button for you to push, in case you need to order any food in their menu (quite expensive lor, but I don't know if they are worth the money or not - too bad never try. haha). $25 for just one ticket in there.. Don't think I would ever do that if I'm going to pay it myself, since it is equivalent to 2.5 movies! Hahaha.. Good experience I must say.

About the movie, it concerns two buddies who turned into rivalry after one gundo killed his wife indirectly. Then, each of them tries to outdo each other, by copying their magic stunts and sabotaging etc. The main part of the movie is about the "Teleporter Man".. Like one guy enter a door here, then pops up at the door on the other far end somehow. People uses twins or look-alikes for these. Hugh Jackman then go invest gazillions dollar into this science project, which can duplicate things. So in the end, he duplicated himself to fascinate the audience by appearing few couple of yards away from the stage itself during the teleporter show. How? Once he steps into the science machine, he duplicates himself and his duplicate will appear somewhere in the audience. Then, the real person on stage will then slipped down into this trapped door below and murder himself by drowning. Creepy eh! Aiya... Don't really know how to explain it, unless you watch it yourself. Read this blog no good - tells you the movie plot de. LOL! This movie gets 4 stars, since it's confusing the beginning for me at first!

It's project time for PSLP.. Have to create a safety poster, as well as do the usual PBL statements. Wang Liang sure do have lots of ideas from his mahjong, 4D to soccer bets... Aiya, too bad all those popped up after we have suggested our ideas to the teacher. In the end, we are doing the chio bu scam idea and the melting chocolate one. Not sure how are we going to execute it, but yeaa.. it's a long time to submission date. So can slack for now. PBL a bit of headache. This is the first time I feel that our group ain't really prepared for it yet. Okay, may be it's just me who's not prepared... Blah!
