Out of the Prison!

Yes! My parents are off to Thailand for 4 days with their workers for a company holiday trip! This means there's no control over me within this period. I can come home whatever time I like, without having to report to them! Hehe. This is so like Prison Break, which I have been watching for the past few days.. For the last few episodes of Season 1, I chiong-ed all the way till 5am in the morning before I slept. It's just too exciting to stop in the middle of nowhere man! So many characters died in the show.. Boohooo.. I got a feeling that they ain't getting their 5 million from D.B. Cooper in Otah...I shall watch it in the new year 2007!

Regards to school work, I think I'm going to be a dead shit when the school reopens this Wednesday. Although Ming and Zai got come over to my house to take photos, that's just the starting point. I have to add the "fire" to it, which I was thinking of making my own digitally (not like what Tom Hanks did in Castaway!). And that's only one of the two posters our group have to do. Argh. Never like the idea of welcoming friends over my house before, since it's not really the idea design I have in mind. Hahaha.. Well.. I'll try to get my parents to work on it, starting with the sofas this coming new year. Then, the stupid "cough syrup" project is hanging in the mid-air, all thanks to Suhardi who still haven't sent in his research! I'm so f**king hell going to scold the shit out of him, if I were to see him in school. And the APEL reflection that I did only the first question.. Deadlines are going to kill me once again.

New year resolutions? None for now.

"When You Were Young" by The Killers

You sit there in your heartache
Waiting on some beautiful boy to
To save you from your old ways
You play forgiveness
Watch it now
Here he comes

He doesnt look a thing like Jesus
But he talks like a gentleman
Like you imagined
When you were young

Can we climb this mountain
I dont know
Higher now than ever before
I know we can make it if we take it slow
Let's take it easy
Easy now
Watch it go

We're burning down the highway skyline
On the back of a hurricane
That started turning
When you were young
When you were young

And sometimes you close your eyes
And see the place where you used to live
When you were young

They say the devil's water
It ain't so sweet
You dont have to drink right now
But you can dip your feet
Every once in a little while

You sit there in your heartache
Waiting on some beautiful boy to
To save you from your old ways
You play forgiveness
Watch it now
Here he comes

He doesnt look a thing like Jesus
But he talks like a gentleman
Like you imagined
When you were young
(talks like a gentleman)
(like you imagined)
When you were young

I said he doesnt look a thing like Jesus
He doesnt look a thing like Jesus
But more than you'll ever know

4A2 Reunited?

Anyone care for a drink at the Alley Bar? Hahaha.. That's what me and some of my secondary classmates (Wai Leong, Kai Jun, Ryan and Alex) did.. Too bad Johnson didn't joined us there.. Freakin' hell left during the pool game, which he didn't touched at all. What to do.. This dude is a national swimmer, and have to win medals for the country de (which he did alot)... Anyway, I met up with these group of peeps, after like 2 years which is pretty sad. Class not bonded then what to do.

I was late as usualy for about 30 minutes? Hahaha.. That's me alright. Was feeling pretty awkard when we were at the Carls Jr. at Plaza Singapura eating... They were talking about Air France videos, politics and different holiday vacations, which seemed foreign to me now. I used to hang around them pretty well, before we each left on our own paths. They either went ACS (International) or ACJC, unlike me. And yup, they are far richer than me alright. That's one thing for sure.. From how frequent they actually travel.. Alex travels to Canada to ski.. Ryan as a getaway every sem break... Wai Leong.. a trip to dubai on birthday.. johnson.. canada to ski.. Argh! So damn good. That's probably one of the influences why I wanna get the hell of Singapore whenever I can.. But it really got better when we were at Le Meridien shopping centre playing pool.. Things starts to get cosy up a little bit, as in like less weird. Hahaha.. After that, we fled to the Alley Bar and drank some beer. I also ordered "Singapore Sling", which tasted real good! Don't really have the strong alcoholic taste to it, but you can visibly see my face turned red. LOL! The atmosphere there was good.. Too bad we can't take the seats inside, where there's this huge red sofa.. So damn comfy lor. Realised that Kai Jun and Alex picked up the bad habit of smoking liao.. Zzz.. Say what "smoke the good quality stuff, you get the good quality stuff" theory, but the stuff in nature are still bad what. Diaoz. Overall, the outing was good and sort of fun. And hm... Alex actually have a girlfriend! Jesus Christ.. How can that devil have a girlfriend man.. LOL! We sort of chat a bit of school stuff, and about that Ding aka boy accused molestor.. =/ Good day.. good day indeed...

Just an image of the Singapore Sling. Didn't took any photos for it..

From Rudolf the Red-Nose Reindeer...

Merry Christmas!
May this holiday cheer bring you peace and joy..
And may happiness and love be always with you!

"Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" by Diana Krall

Have yourself a merry little Christmas,
Let your heart be light
From now on,
Our troubles will be out of sight

Have yourself a merry little Christmas,
Make the Yule-tide gay,
From now on,
Our troubles will be miles away.

Here we are as in olden days,
Happy golden days of yore.
Faithful friends who are dear to us
Gather near to us once more.

Through the years
We all will be together,
If the Fates allow
Hang a shining star upon the highest bough.

It's Christmas Eve!

And my relatives are coming down later today, since we're celebrating it a day earlier as usual... Come to think of it, it's pretty weird how this festive mood seeped into our lives in the past till this very day. If I'm not wrong, it all started when I noticed that during the primary school year-end holidays, there's always a period where all the shops put up all their fancy decorations here and there. Soon, one day I asked my mum what's all these is all about, and she sort of answered "Hey, why not we'll find out what is it like to celebrate Christmas?" even though my family and relatives at that time were all Buddist. But now, it's different - it's more of a mix of Christians, Buddists and free-thinkers. Hahaha.. Interesting eh? So that's my story of how my family bumped into Christmas - the spirit of giving and receiving...

Damn. Still haven't got my mum any present yet! First thing tomorrow morning, me and my brother are going to head out for the nearest shopping mall and grab something! Simply have no time to do for the past few days...

6 Days... to Christmas
Went out to rock-climbing with my brothers as planned in the afternoon, although it was raining cats and dogs... Singapore recorded the highest rainfall on this very day wor! So yeaa... we went home drenched, and I fell sick somehow. In the end, I realised it was just super irritating and at times painful indigestion. Most likely due to the harness I wore that was just too tight ba. It was only 5 dollars for the rock-climbing stuff after 6pm, inclusive of the equipments w/o time limit! But that offer is only for certain days, if I'm not wrong. It's at the Tanjor Pajang, where I have gotten my newbie rock-climbing license from. Hahahaha... Fun fun.

5 Days...
Went to watch "Night at the Museum" movie at Vivocity during the so-called "class outing" with only my click (Jeremy, Shaun and Soo Chin) around.. =.=" Had a great time chatting, when we're at the "White... something something" restuarant... However, my choice of food there is the worst although it's the most expensive among theirs - "Crispy Duck Confit" in red wine sauce. There wasn't much meat inside the dish - more of skin and fats! Blah. Wasted my money... No wonder people says that expensive might not equal to quality. Argh. The movie was sort of lame, but it was really funny (it's Ben Stiller hor.. don't play play with this joker)! Hahaha.. What a good way to spiced up the Christmas mood!

4 Days...
There was also the PIA project to work on together with Suhardi and Wei Liang. Really find no nuts just on the literature research of the cough syrup. What a headache. Not sure what state my team will become after surviving this storm, but I'm sure we will! *strive for the best!*

2 Days... (which is today yesterday lor!)
All the photos shown above are all taken at the Singapore Garden City exhibition at Suntec... Forced myself to join my mum and sis and look at those gardens and stuff, since I'll be the only one at home if I ain't going out. It's holiday season anyway! There was some interesting gardens, which you should take a look for yourself there... The concept are refreshing and nice, unlike those typical ones while some gardens are used to portray certain things like "Life after WWII". My brother wanted to place a pitcher plant at home to trap flies, so we managed to found one small one for him. Quite lame, and don't think it'll be effective. Just use those "slappers" lar! Hahhaha... But he really got no skill using them.. Heh. After the exhibition, it was Christmas dinner shopping time! Bought tons and tons of food to prepare for the big feast later today! No turkey though, only got his cousin chicken. Hahahha.. We are even going to make sushi tomorrow, since my auntie requested for it! It's sure going to be like a food galore.. *chew chew*

I wonder what am I getting from my relatives this year... Hmmm...

Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas...

Christmas is coming real soon. And no rain or thunderstorm is going to stop it from everyone falling into its festive charm. Not even Grinch with his lousy attempts! Well.. he could have done the rain-seeding technology, so that he can dampen everyone's christmas spirit. Blah. What am I thinking..

Exams are finally over, and I don't wish to talk about my exam performance here. It's Holidays man! Anyway, it took me 3 days to squeeze some "stress-relieve" time out for me to make this blog post. Orchard Road was good with all the lightings and christmas decorations. It would have been better if there wasn't any rain at all! Imagine having to walk half-way down the beautiful street, only to know that it started pouring buckets of water on you suddenly. Admire it while you can man, since it's limited time only (thanks to rain). Hahaha..

Present hunting is always a headache. With thoughts like "Is this cool enough for him?" or "Does this present look childish?" constantly flooding into your brain, every moment your eyes set upon the potential gifts. My cousins have grown up alright. And I still couldn't believe that my sister bought a cartoon pencilbox from china, which she intend to give my cousin. *piang* Thought that count? Bleh. I don't think this society is being true to their feelings when they say that. The new generation of youth are getting so materialistic, and that would include myself of course. But to me, it's more of the quality that I'm concerned. So long as the quality is good, I don't mind giving it as a christmas present or what not.

So last Sunday, my family went down to Takashimaya and spent several hours just on choosing two presents we had in mind for my two cousin. The other cousin wasn't coming this Christmas, since his family is going to Japan then. It will still be fun without him I guess, since I find him too hyper! And techy? Hahaha.. He even persuaded his dad to buy him a laptop that has fingerprint-reading capabilities! And guess what? He's only 11-years-old. They really have spoilt him man. As for my present, I still haven't started shopping for it yet. I was thinking of shoes again this Christmas, but neh. Last Christmas was that Timberland shoes that I wore everyday liao. Perhaps something simple.. like a punky cap? Ahahaha.. Something different from what I like to wear everytime ba. Hmm..

And yep, my Christmas tree is up... And it's a huge makeover this time. Our theme this year - blue and white! All the decorations are up, except for the lights. We bought about 100 dollars worth of decors alone. Didn't knew that those would actually cost that much, since it was like several years ago since we bought our first xmas tree. "Imported from Finland" they say, but I got a gut feeling that some might have been imported from the Chinese elves due to economic benefits.. Hahaha.. I'll try to take a photo of it soon, and post it up here when I've got the time. Tomorrow, it's bouldering time! So toodles..

6 days to Christmas! Hohohoho...

"Love It When You Call" by The Feeling

I found a switch
Turned it on
I hit the ditch
You carried on
I was so near
Now you're so far
Are you quite sure
Just who you are

O IIIII
O you could chose a friend but you don't seem to have the time
O IIIII
I wonder if you ever get to say what's on your mind
O take a little time, take a little time

I love it when you call
I love it when you call
I love it when you call
But you never call at all
So what's the complication it's only conversation
I love it when you call
But you never call at all

Remember me, I used to be the best time buddy
That you couldn't wait to see
But getting old, it takes its toll
And hearts getting broken lead to people growing cold

O IIIIII
I'm flipping with a coin that's got a tail on either side
O IIIIII
I'm gonna be the one who makes you stop and realise
You could have it all
We should have it all

I love it when you call
I love it when you call
I love it when you call
But you never call at all
So what's the complication it's only conversation
I love it when you call
But you never call at all

Yea I wonder where you been
Yea I wonder who you seen
And I hope you find your train
When you do I really hope it's all it seems

I love it when you call
I love it when you call
I love it when you call
But you never call at all
So what's the complication it's only conversation
I love it when you call
But you never call at all

Awards Gone Wrong...

This is the crappiest Star Awards I have ever watch to date. Why? Let's make this short, since I don't really have time to nag about it (got to study lar)..

Irritating time dude
This baboon (not refering to the other baboon Shahrez.. Hahaha..) kept on cutting people their speech, with special help from Guo Liang. =.= They wouldn't even let the All-Time Favourite Award winner Chen Liping finish her last sentence.. TOOT sia. And yep, she deserves to win that award alright.. Her "Aiyoyo" character is the only childhood show that I could remember.. Absolutely love it then!

Lousy microphones
There was apparently some mike interference when that Qi Yiwu was saying his speech... We could even hear the female intruder talk clearly on TV lor.. Imagine being there to hear this joker saying her stuff.

Sympathy votes for Wei Lian?
Seriously, he acted only in one show so far.. And he has already the Best Newcomer and Top 10 Male Artiste award! And I doubt his acting was that good... Voters next time please keep singing and acting apart. They are two different things.. And don't lead him into thinking that he is a good actor for goodness sake... I am pretty sure that there's a newcomer who ought to receive that "Best Newcomer Award"..

Reused jokes
Mediacorp got the duo finalist from the joker competition to do some sort of skit in it, which I don't really think is funny at all. Did you even hear the crowd laughed? Not at all. And they got the "changing clothes" thing going again in this award. Can't they think up of something new? Or even a simple change of song... Couldn't really stand this part of the show somehow.. And it was extremely draggy! Lame.

Award presenters
Nothing really against this. Just that Mediacorp just likes to reuse things yar. So much so that they want to revive the "nan zhu jiao" joke thing. Sheeze. Note for Mediacorp.. Please use the jokes once only. It's not really funny, if you try to do it the second time again. Maybe I'm not such a humorous person eh...

Movie advertisement
So what if they got this Hong Kong dude here to present the awards.. I think he's here primarily on the basis that the awards allow some air time for him to promote his latest movie. Lame. Next time you'll see another guy promoting SK-II there too hur.

Nevertheless, the show went on pretty good when the 5566 dudes came up to present the awards, which I believe was pretty well done. This is unlike the "nan zhu jiao" dude, which went terribly wrong. Hahaha.. The best part was when he said that Christopher Lee must have done something good unknowingly, when Chris was talking about how people support through his troubled times with the "things he had done" (which was the "hit-and-run" incident). *cough cough* The first time top 10 male winner Elvin was pretty funny, since he didn't really know how to express himself on stage. Haha.. He just want to keep thanking whoever is on his mind man.. Anyway, he's dubbed as the one who will take over the reign of being the Queen from Zoe in 8Days magazine. LOL!

Actually, I got lots more to say about the winners, but heck.. I need to carry on with my revision for today... Have been watching TV shows after another for almost the entire day. =/ So dead. Wouldn't be blogging anytime soon I hope. :) See you on Friday! Ciaos..

"It Ends Tonight" by The All-American Rejects

Your subtleties
They strangle me
I can't explain myself at all.
And all the wants
And all the needs
All I don't want to need at all.

The walls start breathing
My mind's unweaving
Maybe it's best you leave me alone.
A weight is lifted
On this evening
I give the final blow.

When darkness turns to light,
It ends tonight
It ends tonight.

A falling star
Least I fall alone.
I can't explain what you can't explain.
You're finding things that you didn't know
I look at you with such disdain

The walls start breathing
My mind's unweaving
Maybe it's best you leave me alone.
A weight is lifted
On this evening
I give the final blow.

When darkness turns to light
It ends tonight,
It ends tonight.
Just a little insight won't make this right
It's too late to fight
It ends tonight,
It ends tonight.

Now I'm on my own side
It's better than being on your side
It's my fault when you're blind
It's better that I see it through your eyes

All these thoughts locked inside
Now you're the first to know

When darkness turns to light
It ends tonight,
It ends tonight.
Just a little insight won't make this right
It's too late to fight
It ends tonight,
It ends

When darkness turns to light
It ends tonight,
It ends tonight.
Just a little insight won't make this right
It's too late to fight
It ends tonight,
It ends tonight.

Tonight
Insight
When darkness turns to light,
It ends tonight.

Birthday Week.

Let me wish the following a Happy Birthday!

Zai Wei (07/12)
Pei Shan (11/12)
Xiaoping (12/12)
Dad (12/12)

Hope all your dreams and wishes come true! Maybe Santa might pop in something extra special for your Xmas presents.. Hehe..

Hmm.. I didn't realised that my dad's birthday same as Xiaoping's one wor.. Too bad I didn't saved one of Soo Chin's hits single "Happy Birthday"... Hahaha.. If not, I go run it in the background.. LOL!

So what happened today? I'll just sort of let the photos speak for themselves.

UO2 presentation, which I didn't quite prepared for. Just print out research notes that run through it before the actual thing. Although I fumble quite a bit, I was trying to cut down on my content and hasten my pace. Blah. Alex talked too much & slow lar - though he did help us gain points on the "target audience" thing..

Bloody Zac waiting to eat the cake already, even before the cake was taken out of the darn box... *diaoz*

The birthday kidos! WOOooo... Wei Ming attempting to give Pei Shan his present... She looks scared.. Hahahaha.. And argh! No one asked me to go along and choose the cake hur hur... I can sense something is going on.

Didn't feel like studying. So I decided to do a quite attempt in fusing Zai Wei into a "construction site" photo I found on google for PSLP poster... Haven't been using Photoshop to edit photos for ages.. This is bad.

I Spy...

Sup! This is Mr. Teong - the care person for my class. He's the best friend of everyone in class. *cough cough*

Remember to the benefits of listening hur hur..

Nonsense for Today.

iPod died on me again.
Spent almost the entire day trying to find a solution on the internet, but sadly to no avail. All thanks to the corrupted Electrico songs that I placed in the ipod... It caused minor song skips initially, before it eventually go bonkers and start to skip all the songs. So I did the standard 5 R's recommended solution by Apple. In the end, all the songs in them disappeared into thin air. Even after I tried to restore the ipod, it kept on giving me the corrupted folder icon. Tried to use the "superfix", which is to format the ipod with windows format thing. No use too. Looks like I'll have to make another trip down to the service centre sometime after my exams. Can't wait to replace this old junk, when Apple releases their touchscreen 6G "true video" ipod next year or so the rumours says. *cross fingers* In the mean time, I'll have to make do with my handphone or the xxx brand mp3 player I got. Blah.

Officially a Nightowl.
Help! I can't change my body clock anymore... I have tried turning to bed early (as in 1 am only), but I would end up rolling back and forth instead. Zzz. So that's it I guess. HOOT! HOOT!

Blogspot down...
No blog reading for today. Ha. Blogspot owners better hope that their server didn't crash and lost every single details they have... Hehe.

Fishy Stuffs

No time to blog. But here's a nice picture in an email Ryan had forwarded me... In just one day, he sent me 18 forwarded emails. Power. That's what I can spamming. lol.

"Patience" by Take That

Just have a little patience

I'm still hurting from a love I lost,
I'm feeling your frustration.
Any minute all the pain will stop.
Just hold me close inside your arms tonight,
don't be too hard on my emotions

(Chorus)
Cause I need time.
My heart is numb, has no feeling.
So while I'm still healing,
Just try and have a little patience.

I really wanna start over again,
I know you wanna be my salvation.
The one that I can always depend.

I'll try to be strong. Believe me,
I'm trying to move on,
It's complicated but understand me.

Cause I need time,
My heart is numb, has no feeling,
So while I'm still healing,
Just try and have a little patience,

Yeah, have a little patience, Yeah

Cause these scars run so deep,
It's been hard,
But I have to believe in me.

Have a little patience,
Have a little patience,

Woah, Cause I, I just need time,
My heart is numb, has no feeling,
So while I'm still healing,
just try, and have a little patience,

Have a little patience,
My heart is numb, has no feeling,
So while I'm still healing
just try and have a little... Patience

Coughin' It Loud.

Chronic cough. All day and night I have been coughing, which simply sucks. Can hardly get a good sleep without coughing and drinking lots of water. Bah! What a rare opportunity... We actually spent almost 4 hours seeing the joker Zack for school. He took over Ms Sim's UO2 lab sessin, and I can say his "teachings" are damn powderful. We don't even know what to do for the last question of the pract quiz. Diaoz. Screwed up the tutorial quiz... Don't even know what was going on.. Luckily, that Kaijie roughly taught me how the equations worked during the tutorial...

*cough cough*

That Jeremy quite 'on' sia lately. Usually, when we catch a movie, it's just the usual group. Now, he actually asking around everyone to go. Woah. But too bad today's scheduled midnight movie was cancelled (kind of expecting this would happen somehow), since Ming and Liang got injured from the BB tourny. If not, we would have one hell of the time wandering around Orchard Road. I like doing that somehow.. Lol. Tell that Jeremy to go during the weekends le, but he wanna go train his stupid maple $600 character. Siao gena...

*cough cough*

So damn shagged due to the lack of sleep. Intended to sleep when I got home straight away from school.. However, instead.. I go punggol cycle for almost an hour. Somehow feel that it's such a loss to waste this good weather... Heard that it was a tough match during the BB tourny, with star players etc. Dangit. MIssed such a good show... Good job anyway. At least it's better than the soccer team? =X (Psst.. 3 goals in total lor..) Better luck next time... and of course, with more trainings.. Heh.

*cough cough*
