Wolves.
After the entire exhausting (and boring) first week of DRP sessions, we finally ended off with a free dinner at this Nina (?) Thai Restuarant in Far East Plaza. Opps for pang seh Alex! It's all so last minute thing that cropped up. Anyhoo, the free meal is proudly brought to you by Shahrez, Pei Shan, Samatha, Salman, D'Ong and Ign. Tan (I believe). Who told them to promise the D'Ong that they will pay him $5 for every distinction they obtained.. LOL! Shahrez's wallet seemed to be lighter after this dinner for sure. Hahahaha.. The food there was quite alright ba, which they ordered this 8-meal set for the 9 people that includes fish, prawns, toufu, xiao bai cai, chicken dumpling thingy, and a thai dessert. Not sure how much does it cost, but I sure know that's free for me! Phew. :D
Soon after the dinner, we roamed around Orchard Road like a pack of wolves looking for a place to chillout and eat ice-cream, but not knowing where to head to. Zzzz.. Somemore they throwed me the responsibility of finding that particular place since I've come to Orchard area more often than they do. Who wouldn't be stressed out man, if you were my situation! I know there was this open-till-late Swensens (24hrs actually) somewhere in the Orchard, but just couldn't figure it out then since the map of Orchard had somewhat been swiped clean from my brain. In the end, I made them walk one round to the Takashimaya basement to "look" at the Gelera for don't what reason. >.< We stoned there for a couple of minutes before continuing our journey to the cold west.
Swensen's full! Get the hell out of here... So the manager told us to wait outside at the road-side bench, since it's pretty difficult to get a table for 9 seaters inside the Swensen's. So after approx. 10mins... we were led into arena for some ice-cream food fight fiesta. Didn't know what to order so I believed Shah's recommendation of the Frosted Chocolate Malt that was just too chocolatey for my taste! I really hate that feeling of a sore throat heading my way lor.. Yucks! Shah keep bragging about how crunchy the BALLS are etc, while that Salman opted for the sticky ones. Wahhaha.. Don't think sick arh.. It's just chocolate BALLS. Ordered some shit mushroom too to top-up our not-so-full stomach. I meant shitake golden fried mushrooms. ;) What's more surprising is that we were told to pay only two dollars for the entire thing, since D'Ong is paying the bill first! He hates red $10 notes you see.. Must be something to do with his fengshui thing, assuming that red colour stuffs will clash with him? Dammit. Should have ordered more food if we knew that was the case. Wahahha..
Felt kinda sad for Lim A.L. who have been suaned and talked about behind his back by D'Ong from the time we met him till after the Swensen's. Blah. That's really mean lor.. Zzz.. Shah even dialled up his phone no. to ask him where is he now with special idea by you-know-who. Talking about how he has hanky panky-ing at the moment or something like that. Movie was next, in which Samatha did express a little bit of interest in, when she asked what movie we are intend to watch a moment ago. However, that chance of joining the hippy group was burst when D'Ong asked her to go home instead... *popped!* Felt that she had been puppet-ted by him then, since she said that she's a nocturnal animal herself so she couldn't have gone home and do nothing then since she is most likely gonna sleep at 3am (as she said?)... What a pity.
Instead of checking out the movie time slots at Plaza Singapura that we originally planned, we went to The Cathay and caught the movie "Blood and Chocolate", which was like so unknown and unheard of. A quick check showed that this movie was already released in the States since January.. Zzz.. It's true that the sceneries are almost in the movie with most of the sets took placed in Rome if not all... The movie portrayed the werewolves beautifully just like every other human being, and not a human-eating maniac. The "heritage" behind the werewolves were quite fascinating to me I guess.. They are taught to fear humans, able to transform into any form at anytime similar to a shape shifter, a rule that they must hunt in packs, and so forth... Blah blah blah.. But it's not really those sort of movie that you would say "EXCELLENT!" after you left the theatre. So I would say this movie get an average-average score ba... Maybe that's the reason why you didn't see any advertisements about this movie in the TVs and magazines.. Hahaha..
Once again, time for me to knock off. Night..
