UPDATE: Hooray! Emailing does help indeed...

Good morning Mr TOH RUBEN.

Your enlistment date is on 16-Sep-2008. Your reporting unit is TRAINING LIST BASIC MILITARY TRAINING CENTRE SCHOOL 2.

Why can't they just confirm the date sia. Tentatively - what a word. Anyway, I really envy those people in Japan. They like have all the funky nice phones, while we here in Singapore are so dated. Seriously, just do a dig at Sony Japan's website and you'll get to see them already. I realised that Bluetooth ain't really popular for their phones. What's more.. instead of SMSing around with their friends, they do email messaging! Each of their phone numbers will have an unique email ID to email around lor. It's like they totally won us over with their sleek phones. They use it to surf the internet and watch TV etc. I guess iPhone ain't really unique over there. Hahaa.. Check out the tv phone - SO906i with Bravia technology!

And it's older version - SO905i!

And these are just two phones from Sony/DoCoMo. Now, I finally know why Zai Wei's Motorola phone never see before in the international market. I'm hunting for a nice cool exotic phone whose functionality will not be compromised. This is because if you were to buy these phones, you have to unlock it using Hypersim cards or whatever. And that causes it not able to use 3G and stuff. Gah. Don't want to remain in the 2G realm with a funky phone. Hmm.. Any recommendations out there people?

Singapore Arts Festival - Water Fools

Singapore Arts Festival has just kicked off, along with Great Singapore Sale! Weee.. Took the opportunity to check out the Water Fool festival with my friends, since I kinda missed it on the day before - only saw the ending fireworks. Hahaa.. It's quite nice actually.. Too bad we didn't get the best standing place or a good camera to snap them all. The performance was at the Boat Quay river, where people perform on water as if they were on the road. You can see 'taxi' rolling about here and there, with lamp posts being erected along the river. Cool eh? Just check out the pictures below my friend Ian took.. Ended the night at the TCC Gallery in that area. Even though I was having a running nose that day, I still had a great time with you peeps! :) Sorry for the mess I had. Managed to use up the whole 2 packs of tissue I brought, along with some rolls of toilet paper I kapoked from TCC and Ian's tissue. LOL! Damn shiong I know..

TP Graduation Day

Sorry for the late posting. Didn't collect much photos yet. If you have any, please send them to me hor! It's rather sad that I actually forgot to bring a camera for graduation day. Haiz. Was too damn sleepy that day. I see my photos - all the shots also like sian sian one. I remember before approaching the ceremony guy, Mr Lim was like saying smile leh. Hahhaaa.. What to do. Blah. Here's some that I've gotten so far:

Genting - City of Entertainment

Woohooo! I've passed my driving test, and I'm now waiting for my photocard driving license to arrive soon. But a stupid payment issue thanks to the auntie there kinda dampened my mood then, especially after 1.5hours of queuing. Zzz. TP should seriously do something about their branch at SSDC - during lunch break when there's suppose to be the most no. of ppl only one freakin' counter opened. Zzz.. Had to go back to SSDC to make my payment again, after the auntie realised that my payment didn't get through. Zzz..

14 points alright, but proud to say that my circuit only got a deduction of 2 points. Haha.. Was overexcited when coming back from road since I knew I have passed already and as a result, I was 'complacent' (a very famous word after Mas Selamat escape) and didn't do my engine brake quite properly on my bends - didn't release the clutch enough for engine break after changing down. A total of 8 points all came from my braking. Hahaha.. Ouch I know. Oh yar, tester didn't test my emergency break (which I was most fearful of actually), even though it was clear of traffic enough to do so. Haha.. Also, there was any traffic for lane changing at my time slot too, since it was at 10.15am (which was considered the best). Certainly worth the additional wait of 3 weeks for this test date. Haha.. Lucky me alright. Was the 2nd to return from the time slot wor. Hehe. Night chillouts and midnight supper here I come!

Genting! Just been here last year I think. Was there for a 3 days 2 nights stay. Mainly it was a trip for my dad and grandma to gamble their way to fortunes. *cough cough* I can say my granny's good cos she knows when to stop, as a result she won like 2K i think. My dad on the other hand gave his wallet to Mr. Jackpot. Hahhaa.. Really don't get what's so shiok about casino. Too bad I cannot enter, since I was still a year short of the legal age for casino entry.

Sentosa Cove...

Working so far is quite alright with not much stress as yet. This could have been due to the quiet construction market lately, which is certainly agreed by people in this industry along with the suppliers. Talking about suppliers, it was the first time I had a free bombastic lunch with the Kyoto suppliers at Jumbo Seafood. Damn. Such a heavy lunch since a long time, somemore got lobster wor! Apparently, this supplier has been doing business with my parents for over 10 years, but my mum actually didn't got the chance to talk to the guy in person although she was quite familiar with him over the phone all these years. Hahaa.. Sounds pretty much like my online friends too. Hmm.. Always say want to have lunch or dinner and stuff, but in the end don't have anything. Lol. Perhaps due to the fact that I'm such a shy boy.. *ahem*

Anyhoooo.. Went to Sentosa Cover earlier today with my dad to check out the installation works at one of the bungalow there. Can't believe they actually use such a large AHU system (common abbreviation for air handling unit)! I mean it's like most households would use those small split unit air-conditioners, but hell theirs are those big big ones normally used for hotels etc. And it occupies like the size of my living room lor. I guess that's the difference between the uber-rich and the normal folks here. I can say that I've seen more ang-mohs than I normally do in Orchard visiting/living that area lar. Damn. I seriously wonder how the Americans earn their dollars so much. Imagine each plot fetching a few million dollars. *diaoz*

But with the current Singapore's weather, it's like a freakin' Sahara desert living there. Even the wind that's blowing to the houses there are hot! And if you're observant enough, you can see that each and every single bungalows are no way identical, being uniquely designed ones. Heard from my that cousin of mine I mentioned about before that her husband has bought two apartments here. Filthy rich, but what's the point when you don't even know the basic respect.. Hmm.. Not gonna say more on this. Dirty little secret. Anyway, me and my mum agreed that both of us showroom lovers must check out the bungalow we're doing before handing it over to the owner. Lol. Just imagine that it belongs to us for a moment before going back to the reality of slogging hard to make dreams come true. Here are some of the photos I took!

And damn! Everyone around me have already received their enlistment letter, except for me. Oh great. What is exactly going on? Fat. Slim. Fit. G6PDs. Police. All of these groups get liao. Please don't tell me I end up doing administrative stuff for NS - it will be totally boring lor. Just simply waiting for time to pass each day, wasting every single minute of my life. Zzz.. Could it be that "Abnormal" word I see on my ECG (which I'm not sure what's it about)? But I get Pes "B" L1 leh. Unless I'm super heng and tio the white horse one! ROFL. Wait long long. Zzz.. Just hope it doesn't get postponed to next year or whatnots. If really kena clerk, may consider getting part-time degree.. ORD with degree! Hahaa.. Oh yes, good luck for me on 15th May yeaa! Gonna take my *vrooom* *vrooom* test. Wooohooo! If there's any higher beings up there, PLEASE let me pass this try! *crossfingers*

April 20, 2008

Fifteen!

My wallet just bled 75 bucks on a freakin' night! But it's kinda worth it with all the fun and joy we had. More beer drinking sessions yeaa! Damn stupid of me to actually arrive early for a group of people who are usually late (this includes me too - lol). In the end, I think I waited for nearly 45minutes for each Kings and Princes to arrive *yawn* while drinking my "Dulce De Leche Frappuccino" (a new drink - pleasantly nice!) at Starbucks - also kinda explains why my money flew away that quickly that day. Really enjoyed myself with the small little games we played. Totally prefer the environment outside compared to inside for sure at Chijmes. And I can say that Shahrez was pretty high that fateful night eh? Haha.. Blah blah blahh..

EDIT: Opps! Forgot to publish this out. Lol.

When war begins...

I just couldn't handle accusations at home. The moment I sense a little tingling feeling of that, I somewhat become irritated with that asshole tone of mine. And it was this series of unpleasant events with her that caused the so-called World War with my sister at home yesterday. For the first time in her life did she told me to not to call her sister anymore. But I seriously don't feel that it's entirely my fault somehow, given the tone and the type of respect I get from her myself. Just because one is older does not mean higher authority or whatsoever. She's such a control freak-Queen Bee in the house. Whatever she says is right, even though when she is wrong. Something she don't even admit things that came out from her mouth lar. Let's say my brother wants to go on night cycling.. She'll be like the damn first one to object it. It's like what's up with that man. No freedom for us?! Common. We're already 18 and above liao, and we don't need your decree on this sort of things. Concern you might say, but the nasty tone coming out of your mouth ain't telling us so. I've got to admit that I argue alot (and I really mean ALOT) with her, because I just can't stand her behaviour most of the time. Issues with her can never be easiy solved with a simple word 'sorry'. There's just too many to count in the first place. Sooo in the meantime, we'll just shun each other and wait for time to heal.

October 28, 2007

This is stuff.

May I present you the latest creations from SooChin & Company... Ahahaha...

MP-less

Once and for all, this stupid project is gone for good. No more late nights just chiong finish something anymore. Presentation turned out better than I thought it would, especially for Mr. Chan's evaluation. I thought he would have asked tons of questions or even non-related bo liao questions like "What software did you used to make this diagram?" which is precisely what he asked Eleena. Hahaha.. He actually went for his lunch and lecture lor, and delayed my meeting with him from 1.30pm to all the way till 4pm+. Kao. Don't know if it's a good thing or what. Then, he spent like almost 20mins or so with Nicholas's poster... Zzzz... The surprise was actually that he only asked me two-three questions nia. And at the end of it, he even say good job wor. Goodie! But the most stupid thing is that my poster was to be taken away because it has been "selected" even before Mr. Chan has finished grading my poster! Wtf lar. Isn't Mr. Chan part of the evaluators also? =.=" Like what Mark Tan said, it's really unfair lor.. Don't know what to say.. Zzzz...

I would really want to thank Mr. Ignatius Tan here who have provided a great deal of help to me throughout this period, despite having to put up with the nonsense I made - like not doing what is told, not producing the goods he want to see etc. Argh! If I am able to turn back time, I'll make sure I did those man.. He's such a good fellow in school. Well.. He gave me his personal email, and I'll make sure I'll keep contact with him for he is my saviour of my project! You rock all the way man! Take care and good luck with your future endeavours. Really hope we'll get to see you around in Singapore sometime again... :)

Oh yes, thanks Shahrez for the wonderful lunch at your house earlier today. You are really blissed to have such a lovely mum who's real caring. Thanks for the ultra-effective lozengers. It kinda made me 'high' a moment there I guess. Hahhaha... Had a great time there with you guys talking crap. Hahha..

Oldie Birthday Parteh!

Photo-spamming time! Pictures speak louder than words... We were celebrating my grandfather's 80th birthday last Saturday.... Old skool style parteh - Dinner with Karaoke!

It's all about ME!

Motivation is something I always lacked of in my life. Now look what you have done Ruben.. There's 2-months worth of MP logbook entries and another 8 SIP reflections to fill in! AHhh.. And there's a campus discussion next week! Gooosh. I'm sooo goner now. Luckily, there's finally a twist of fate where the light at the end of the tunnel is starting to become visible - with the arrival of my new carbohydrate column! Rock on babeh... No more crappy baseline. No more unknown peaks. The only problem now is how to get the results as soon as possible for campus discussion. So many things so little time. Come on Ruben! Chat less during working hours.. Ahahhaa.

Have been hanging out with the girls in AS4 recently more than my usual clique somehow.. It's been ages since I last played pool lor.. Anyhoo.. was at the Mind cafe in Boat Quy with Khad, Gen and Xue Fang last Saturday, after a BK dinner at Central. It's quite dumb that Central don't really have any Halal food lar, and not even their kopitiam has any Indian or Malay food! Sheeze. As a result, our options were narrowed down to BK or LJS only.. Gah! SOooo many nice Japanese restuarants.. There's even a Manhattan Fish Market branch there! I miss their platter man.. Heading back there later in the night to celebrate National Day with my friends.. Hahaha..

----------

PS: Do you even feel that it's like N'Day already? Look at the HDB flats! Very few people are actually putting up the national flags lar.. Thoes that were up are all put up by the town council one. Maybe that's how Singaporeans does a silent protest against the Government's policy like the increase of GST. LOL! Not much decorations this year I would say. If not, it could be just the fact that we are plain busy to observe the surrounding slowly anymore. Gah! Work sucks.

----------

It would have been a better experience with Mind Cafe during the weekdays, considering that it's less crowded and their service to us would have been much better. The staffs there are relatively busy during the entire night larr.. So it may appeared as if they don't really have the time in instructing us on how to play some of the new games etc. And I'll start mentioning about the female staff there who was damn bombastically helpful during my previous experience. *looks at the girls* Ahahaha.. Wanted to find that "Sitting Ducks" game lor, but couldn't seem to find it even after I went downstairs to find it twice! Booohooo..

The following Monday we went to Cineleisure after work to catch the movie "Disturia", which I would say I was abit reluctant to go initially. Hahaha.. Well.. The movie's not bad lar.. Good acting there by the transformer dude. And the chick in the movie is hot lar. Hahahaha.. I would be using the binoculars too, if I were him. Kekeke.. But certainly wouldn't be like him being too much of a stalker. Lol. The suspense of the movie is quite good I think, especially the part whereby he break into the serial killer's house to find his kidnapped mum. Anyhoo, just realised from Yuan Long that the movie was out in the states few months ago lar! Went to do my own digging and found that the DVD for the movie is coming out already in states. So diaoz lor. But it's rather smart for the film company to like show transformers first to expose the audience to the somewhat new actor before launching this particular movie, thus raking in more gross income. After the movie, we went on to makan ice-cream crepe at the basement there. The ice-cream taste good alright, but somehow I'm craving for the one in Marche instead.. *drools*

Photoooooss....

Espirit rocks! Passionfruit flavour is niceeee... Like their logo alot because of its simplicity. Nearly took the bottle home.. LOL!

Can you believe that this image is created just by ONE line.. That's cool man. Didn't know one line can make such a difference! It's still being showcased at the Esplanade i think..

That's Swissotel. And that's Chijmes I believe.. A lovely stargazing moment in the rooftop of Esplanade.. Always enjoyed this moment.. Too bad they go and cut the grass, and make it too poky for me to lie down nicely.. Ahahha..

Just some moving picture taken by one of the girls. Don't know what's up with their hands! Was hanging about the stairs enjoying the view... Chitty chatty was the usual.

Singapore's beautiful if you know when to look at it! Could have taken a better photo, if I had a camera... So many lovey dovey couples sitting at the side.. Bo space for us to settle in.. :(

BBQ! The only photo I have as of now.. Zzzz...You know about the details already.. So whatever! Chung Hung drunk in the back scene.. Kekeke..

Money Saving!

You guys must really try this money saving method of mine, adapted from my younger brother. Because my wallet doesn't have any coin pouch, all my coins goes to my front jeans pocket. So at the end of the day, I would throw all of them into this huge kitty mug,, Yar I know.. That damn mug looks gay - my auntie bought for me during one of the xmas... Don't have any proper coin bank larr like my father who has this big barrel filled with coins... So just earlier on, I started counting my coins so that I can exchange for proper notes with my mum tomorrow - she needs them to pay salaries etc i think. And guess what? I have a total of 120 bucks! It's amazing lar. Everyday unknowingly throw a tiny weeny sum of coins inside.. Then grow until so huge. But to think about it, it took me 3months to fill to its brim. Quite alot still.. Now, I'm thinking what I can splurge this money on.. Hmmm...

May 15, 2007

Game Over.

I'm really lack of sleep nowadays with an average of almost 5 hours only? Sad I would say.. No wonder I was knocked-out by a small rest nia during the shut-down routine works.. It was raining lar.. So everyone went inside the workshop area to take cover while the trainers did the shutting down. Ahahha.. This was when I sneaked my way inside the workshop classroom for a short nap. All of the sudden, I just woke up and realised it was already 7.15am larr! Everyone was dressed up and ready for debrief already - Heng sia.. If not, I might have already been abandoned in CPTC and no one would notice it lor.. Ahahha.. What a close shave.. *phew* Even though I was dead sick with fever and flu, I had a pretty great time chatting nonsense with Group 6. Ahahaha.. Thanks Teresa for the cold-relief panadols! Should have taken it alot earlier... And thanks to Liang and Alex and others for their concern. Flu sucks big time. Now, I'm having nose block. Wtf.

And I must mention this - our group took only ONE try to successfully switch the diesel fuel to fuel gas, and back! Powerr.. But guess why? Alex took almost an hour to turn the steam gas valve to 5 bar. Everyone in the DCS was like kaobei-ing lar.. In the end, we named it "Alex's Valve" at the DCS side.. LOL! You can agar know how much to turn one mahh.. Cos they got say before it will take like probably 15-20min to increase the steam pressure to 5 bar. So you do a division of 5 bar by 20min, and you'll roughly know the rate to increase at based on the pressure gauge. When the condensate enters the furnace, naturally got sparks de mah. And the flame inside is like damn big lar.. How can die-out so fast de.. Lol. That's the main reason why I came back to the DCS during their valve-turning. Hehe. So yup, Henry was supposedly treating the group Mac if they did it one successful try, but in the end he only foke out 50 bucks.. So yar lor.. Nobody wanted Mac somehow liao.. Lol. Must think for him also lar, if treat whole class a meal each, that would probably cost him $150! Crazy. That's why didn't order anything then as well. That stupid NYP girl kept on saying nasty things about us in the DCS, so much that the Boon Heng was so hyped up lar.. Lol. What "TP are slackers and evil"... Nonsense. We're doing it slow because of the carrot that is tied to the end of the race mah. And please, they themselves didn't gave us the opportunity to start-up the furnace. And till today, I have no clue of how to start up a bloody furnace. Chicken macdonalds...

The only day I had the shift training with Group 7 - which consists primarily of my TD04 classmates. This was the day which I learnt the most lar. The other two days with them was damn slackish. LOL! Anyway, Hong Wee is quite fun one lar.. Although he's strict at times, he really knows when to have fun and when to work. Here are some photos that we took at the end of the day. That Jeremy so anti-social sia.. Go hide in toilet when we were taking informal photos. People had to go drag him out in order to get him to take one photo. =.="

My Celebrity Look-Alikes!

Saw this feature on my friend's blog and wanted to try it too. I also tried one photo that says I look somewhat like Ashton Kutcher as well! Wahaha.. Perhaps when I am old that time, I will become one of the lao ah bei.. Kekeke.. If you wanna try it also, check this website! It's fun alrightt...

Welcome to the Zoo!

Here we are at the zoo AGAIN... What an idea... *looks at one of the peeps* Last year just went lar.. Gah. But it beats going to the ice-skating arena in JURONG east... Plus it was quite fun bah other than the thing I had. The food there freakin' expensive lar.. Sure earn money one sia if open a darn snack store there. Throw all the animal photos in the extended entry... Oh yes, Happy Birthday TingTing! Sorry for not being able to make it for your chalet... Really too damn tired then. One more night till all the 12-horror ends! Oleh, oleh oleh...

Earth is Round.

As many have heard that images speak louder than words, I guess I'll just dump all the photos that I have taken on my photo to get you of the rough idea what went on for the past 2 weeks in my life when I'm not in Jurong Island doing shit works. >.>

29th April
Palm Resort: Tabletennis.Snooker. Gym (tiny weeny bit). Tennis. Swim.
Went to visit my grandfather after that. You can really see how the lung cancer has showed its symptoms slowly draining away my grandfather's life.. Haiz.. Now, he can't even get himself up without any assistance. You can compare him with a starving African kid, because his muscle has slowly been wasted away since he always have no appetite for food. This is the effect of smoking. And no way I am going to touch any cigarettes in my life. Cool? I doubt so. I really hope that my dad quit smoking. It will not only impact one's health, but also affect the family in many ways. Gah. Went to this kampong seafood restuarant later in the night. The now-pricey food no longer tasted as good as they were liao. Sad case.

28th April
Get caught in between girl talks - Trixie and Karin. =.=" Both are so alike. Are you sure you two ain't twins or what? Was at the Vie Bar drinking Frozen Banana Daiquri - quite alright bahh.. I prefered it that they served it in cups though. Only had 3 hours of sleep for the next day. Suckzor.

27th April
Finally a day without the need to go home straight after CPTC. Loved it! Going wild. Filming lame videos. Play games with drinks at Gatsby (stupid name.. reminds me of the hair cream) in Chijmes. So damn bloody fun. Xiuting I bet you really wish to have your revenge on me again soon! LOL! *shows "L" shape with fingers* Drank Lychee Martini this time round - very nice wor..

21st & 22th April
This is suppose to be a makan sultra thing. Alex wanted to film all these down, but the plan got scrapped off somehow. Video blog? No thank you! Ahahaha.. I'm not those famous wacky bloggers in Singapore... xD First stop.. Ba chou mee. 2nd stop.. Blackboard for this delicious yummy salmon and chicken thingy... In the night, we went to Home Club that was recommended by Trixie.. *ahem* The music sucks (probably wrong timing bah - lousy deejay!). What we saw didn't quite tally with what we saw on the internet (probably at the wrong part of the place?). Ahahaha.. After camping the night at Diana's house, we went to Joo Chiat the following day for some Fei Fei wanton noodles. Okay larr.. Saw that Tan Keng Hua lor w/o makeup! Ahahha.. Didn't recognise her till don't know who said so. OH yes, thanks Trixie for helping along by secretly buying the cake and went along with Diana's plan.. Hehe. Job well done! *thumbs up* Hope you had a great birthday surprise then Alex.. Come on.. Did you actually thought that bulky thing that Trixie was carrying all along was for Marcus? LOL!

March 23, 2007

Good break!

Was supposed to have the lim-kopi session on Wednesday, but ho ho ho... I was soooooo last minute informed by Ting Ting that we are going to have a meetup in Marina Square.. Had to rush all the way from TP to Bugis, after my DRP lor.. In the end, I forgot I left my earpiece in my lab coat and had to run back from the bus stop to the AS4 again sia.. I can't do without music lar.. What to do.. Hahaha.. Was having a good time chatting with Mr. Dr. Wong for half the journey while I'm on the bus 23.. He really wanted to do his research on Molecular Biology in our applied science school one lor, but the freakin' school didn't allowed him to pursue it.. Thanks to D'Ong I guess.. Ass. Pity to see such a good teacher leaving our school... ONE more year and I'll say good bye to the devils behind TP..

Back to the story... I luckily didn't get lost on my way there with the little information I get from Cornie, since I have walked the area before once... Was so pai-seh to let them wait for me lar, especially Cornie since she has been complaining all the while that she's hungry.. Hahaha.. Dinner was quite good.. I ate the don't-know-what-name restuarant's new signature dish, which combines both my favourite meat chicken and cheese one.. Superbly yummy.. Chit chat a bit.. Btw, the girls around the restuarant are pretty hot too.

Wanted to watch a movie, but none of them interest us or have been watched by either one of us. So we strolled our way to this kopi-tiam across the street and do our crap talk again, before heading to Marina Square for the Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe to ton the rest of the night.. I have never tried before mixing coffee and tea together lar.. They called it "Ying Yong" there.. Took some time to get used to the taste, since it's like nowhere here or there sort of taste.. LOL! Most probably I drink too much of coffee and tea in the morning SEPERATELY.. What I liked about this restuarant is most probably cos it opens until 4am on weekdays and 24/7 on the weekends. Smart business strategy!

The fancy looking menu with lots of food ranging from Tim Sum to those main course dishes.. Love their drinks section too! They even sell Mango Ice-Cream Ice Kachang or something like that...

TingTing busy looking at the menu, while Cornie and Ryan played with their phones trying to to send each other the photos we took.. Cornie's bluetooth kukoo one. And that Ryan go copy me, go buy same phone! Shikes. I have such a common phone...

>

French toast anyone? Never see this before.. Reminds me of TouFu.. Nope, not the stinky ones I've seen in Shanghai.. LOL!

As said earlier, the lim-kopi session was pushed to today.... And sms-ed around to gather their replies in the late noon... At least this time quite a number of people replied.. Even Shaun too sia! Hahah.. He still busy doing his Dinner-and-Dance thing for the TPSU club.. LOL! Don't think there'll be alot of people going there on the day itself, with such a high-class theme... Was thinking whether to cancel or just go ahead with today's meet-up lor.. Heng heng.. I didn't cancel sia.. Had a great time today having supper. Okay, my supper is just honey sea coconut and I'm starving as I'm writting this post.. Should have eaten something more heavy.. We talked about chalet, boxes (as in the undergarment), Shahrez's experience to the doctor who's going to snip off his lalallala, and Alex's unskillful target training..... Ahahaha... Don't read too much into these.. I'm just exaggerating some parts.. Opps if I say anything wrong! Talk and talk until it's time for us to catch the last bus home.. Well.. I agree with Pei Shan that we should have these more often in the near future... Just a simply chat and drink outing... Thanks for coming out guys! Some words for you all....

- Su Hua: Hm.. I still owe you a cup of teh-ping as prize for conquering the mountain FIRST... *winks*
- Pei Shan: You get nothing! Muahhaha.. No agreement was made with ya.. Somehow your walking to kopitiam very slow leh! LOL!
- Wei Ming: Thanks dude for making this session a bit more lively! And man.. Such a long hair you have.
- Shahrez: Count yourself lucky for coming here.. Ahahaha.. If not, muahahaha... And you should really ask your parents why they did it.. Really curious, besides the "clean" reason... And about the girls one too! :D
- Alex: Hell didn't know you are such an emotional person sia.. Can actually cry wor upon receiving your long awaited phone call from your MIA girlfriend.. If you go NS outfield, how sia? xD
- Soo Chin: Sheeze.. You never fail to turn up, do you? Hahaha.. That's the spirit.. Rock on man!

Wallace's A Flying Frog!

From the above image, it depicts how much Alex detest Wallace a lot.. so much so that he requested me to post up this photo that he took when he went to the zoo recently, so as to remind everyone that Wallace is a big fat flying frog? LOL! Hahaha.. Kidding lar. It's just for pure fun and joke. :D

Joy To The World!

Joy To The World! The holidays has come...

After suffering another major blow from the last paper (couldn't finish), a group of us went to Muthu's Curry at Suntec for some hot sensation there.. The classy Indian restuarant is so damn well-decorated I must say... They even have waiters that uses pda to take down your orders and stuffs. Always wanted to check out this high-class store whenever I passed-by it, but it's ever-so crowded during the weekends. And finally.. I did! Sadly, the girls didn't joined us too for this food fiesta somehow, whilst considering ah lian as a boy... Anyway, their signature Fish Head Curry was shared among the 5 of us, excluding shaun who only "drinked" the curry since he got a strange phobia of fish bones (o.o!). I couldn't really judge for the curry itself, since I myself don't really even like the idea of eating curry. Sooo ya lor.. I ate the fish mainly, which tasted quite good I must say.. I also ordered this finger-licking good fried chicken side-dish called "Chicken 65"... But the thing that I don't get it was that there's a mention of what "yoghurt" in the description, and I don't seem to taste anything like that in it! I could have seen the wrong column ba. *cockeye-d again* =.="

Hopping from Suntec to Marina Square was tedious and very lazy for people who slept only 1.5hours... After wasting quite a while of time deciding if we should go a movie, we took a bowl instead which Shahrez was simply the pro-est! He managed to get like 3 or 4 strikes in a row sia, even though he claimed that he's new to bowling.. "Yea right!" Ahahaha.. Me and Shaun was simply tagging at the back throughout the game.. LOL! Sad right? Could be signs of fatigue.. But nevertheless, we even went to play lan at Simei without alex and lian that is. Hahaha.. Was damn pro for a period of time in the last match thanks to my super luck... But that luck eventually faded away... Aww.. I would daresay that the undeniable truth is Jeremy is waayyy better than Shahrez in Counter-Strike.... for now...

Happy Birthday & Happy Valentine's Day!

Special thanks to all those who spent their time celebrating with me during these few days! Rock on guys...

Wednesday, 14th February (Valentine's Day!)

"Surprise!" Really caught off guarded by Su Hua, Pei Shan, Wei Lian, Wei Ming and the others who were part of the "mischieve" making. Ahaha.. Thanks a million... Really appreciate what you guys have done for me to make-up for the bad birthday day I had. Anyhoo, I knew there was going to be some sort of thing going to happen on that day during the break or so I thought, but I never knew it was during the CSAS class itself.*muacks* *muacks* *muacks* Lol. Whoever thought of buying a mango cake really has a good taste man! Super delicious and yummy! And sorry about what happened to the japanese steam cheese cake you guys gave me.. I sort of put it inside my bag and got squaashed up like a flat roti prata, but I still finish it up though - taste good as new!

This was the first time I actually took a neoprint with my friends.. The other 'first' time no really counted since it was taken with a camera in the neoprint machine. LOL! Got chased out by the shop keepers in the end.. XD 10 bucks for such a sweet memories quite worth it wor. It's also not really surprising that it was my first/second neoprint time, since I came from a boy school de. Please don't expect us to take neoprints man - that would have just looked wrong. Wahaha..

Look at the photo above! Don't you just think that Wang Liang is a potential actor? Man you should really try going for an audition to work in the Mediacorp studios.. Lunch at Pizza Hut, and a free game play of Metal Slug at the arcade. Ahahaha.. Was sharp enough to notice that the Metal Slug machine was unoccupied and has 2 person credits in it, even though I was dead tired then.. Played it with Wei Liang, but got trashed terribly because the controllers are abit sot sot making me unable to jump in game well. Lucky us?

After school, an entire group of us - bachelors (except for Alex and Wei Lian - this one is bachelorette, not boy xD) - got nothing better to do. So we gathered our manpower, and head down to the brothel cinema and watched a raunchy action movie "Ghostrider"... This movie has good animated effects, although the details of the skull could have been better (but I guess the makers want it to be a PG film).. But as for the plot, let's say that there were many questions being asked after the movie itself that left us wondering about this and that.. There could just be another sequel to this movie hur hur... What a good Valentine's Day it was spending the day with your friends... =)

Thursday, 15th February

It's been ages since I last went for cycling-cum-jogging.. My legs and part of the abdominal area was aching the entire day when I go out for Round 2 of fun... A never-before-happened thing happened that day. I was actually on the dot, meaning punctual for an outing! Wow.. I've always expected myself to be late for anything and everything, but I wasn't. Lol. Woot.. Woot... However, that Donald duckie was late for a whole 30 minutes for goodness sake! *sheeze* After which, we met up with the living corpse called Ian found in Marina Bay, who hasn't been sleeping for the past 24hours. As expected, there was a retarded (as in slow) response from Ian.. LOL! Went to one of the steam boat chains that lined the street, and started gorging food into our tummies... Didn't like cooking food initially, since I prefer food to be laid in front of me rather than cooking it yourself and wait. Ahahaha.. After a while, the real conversation gets heat up and yeaaa.. the day just turned out alright. Ting Ting really know how to eat prawns.. Take until so many.. LOL! And that duckie as usual likes to play with his food, just like Gillian last time? :P *acts innocent* And no, I did not put the soup into that empty drink can and try to fool Ting Ting... LOL!

China boy Ryan bought me a funky fish keychain as my birthday gift while the two "姐妹" bought us $20 worth vouchers that can be used to buy items from the affiliated sports shops. Thanks guys! And that Ian gave me and Ryan (he also soon-to-be birthday boy lar) this cool little red poach that contains 4 pineapple (i think.. it tasted quite like it!) raspberry tarts (thanks for the correction iano), which he was selling in the TP restuarant earlier in the day as his project.. It's the thoughts that count.. ;)

Steam boat liao.. We "走走" to Marina Square's McDonald and talk till we can take the last mrt train home. Heng heng Mac didn't really close its shutters on 10.30am.. Hahaha.. Helped them reduce any Milo wastage by buying the last few cups.. xD Everyone was quite stony then.. Staring into the blank space, which seemed pretty interesting to do then... Hahaha.. See you guys soon!

Friday, 16th February

Was supposed to meet my secondary school buddies Ryan (not the yesterday one) and Kai Jun.. But that Kai last minute had to run errands with his "ah bu", and go do CNY shopping. Zzz.. So in the end, it was just me and Ryan for the movie and pool. "The Last King of Scotland" was a fairly good show since it's inspired from true story one. The primary story goes around the buddy relationship between this scottish doctor and African coup president... And how this scottish doctor betrayed the president's trust, by fucking his second wife. LOL! This show is M18 for a reason.. Ahahah.. And I sure do look like 18 yr-old since they didn't checked my IC! Heh. Amazingly, Kai Jie (not this Kai - LOL!) "bumped" into me at Plaza Singapura.. Hahhaa.. Surprise surprise.. What was he doing there... Next move was to hunt down a location to play pool from Meridien to Cineleisure and finally settled down on the not-so-crowded Lucky Plaza. I trashed myself in the first 2 rounds by hitting the black ball into the holes even before the game started warming up. tmd. So it was 2-0 already! Luckily, I managed to turn it into a draw by the end of our games. 3-3! Ryan you really got to buck up your skills, if you want to beat your mother in pool. Your accuracy stinks man! Or should I say that my luck is simply too "wang wang".. Wahhaha.. If not for the 2 lucky rounds, I would have won! Hehe. Good day, good games...

Birthday Week.

Let me wish the following a Happy Birthday!

Zai Wei (07/12)
Pei Shan (11/12)
Xiaoping (12/12)
Dad (12/12)

Hope all your dreams and wishes come true! Maybe Santa might pop in something extra special for your Xmas presents.. Hehe..

Hmm.. I didn't realised that my dad's birthday same as Xiaoping's one wor.. Too bad I didn't saved one of Soo Chin's hits single "Happy Birthday"... Hahaha.. If not, I go run it in the background.. LOL!

So what happened today? I'll just sort of let the photos speak for themselves.

UO2 presentation, which I didn't quite prepared for. Just print out research notes that run through it before the actual thing. Although I fumble quite a bit, I was trying to cut down on my content and hasten my pace. Blah. Alex talked too much & slow lar - though he did help us gain points on the "target audience" thing..

Bloody Zac waiting to eat the cake already, even before the cake was taken out of the darn box... *diaoz*

The birthday kidos! WOOooo... Wei Ming attempting to give Pei Shan his present... She looks scared.. Hahahaha.. And argh! No one asked me to go along and choose the cake hur hur... I can sense something is going on.

Didn't feel like studying. So I decided to do a quite attempt in fusing Zai Wei into a "construction site" photo I found on google for PSLP poster... Haven't been using Photoshop to edit photos for ages.. This is bad.

I Spy...

Sup! This is Mr. Teong - the care person for my class. He's the best friend of everyone in class. *cough cough*

Remember to the benefits of listening hur hur..

Motor Show 2006

Sexy cars, beautiful models. This perfect couple makes it all right for Motor Show 2006. However, some major car makers are missing from this show such as Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, and Volkswagen, which is quite a disappointment to all the visitors I guess... We got to take a peek into the future, and managed to steal a look (keke.. more than one) at the million-dollar babies - Lamborghini and Ferrari.

So are you ready for Motor Show 2006?

Malaysia.. Truly Asia?

Haze? Nah. It's just the usual cold Genting mist. Moving' up from the Awana hotel to the Genting Highlands, where dice rolls and jackpot sounds.

In the following post, I'm only going to talk about the images I have and maybe some other interesting things unrelated in them.

Updated with more photos.

Starlight Cinema + Botak Jones!

Saturday

When I was at the Starlight Cinema in Padang with my brother, we didn't know that the PSI had shot to the unhealthy level. But all I know was that it's damn hazy!

One of the first few people who arrived there at 6.15pm... Gave us free Nokia mats and Nivea inflatable balls to rest on.

The winning ticket that worth $30! Entry for 2 people... They chopped some sort of stamp on our hands, which was smudged off even before the movie started.

Things is starting to warm up! Don't you think the balloon looks like a moon? I really like the scene from here. If only, there is no haze. And you could have watched the stars too!

The Dubious Brothers performed live with a couple of songs. One song they made up was pretty too rocky for this sort of mood. There was one funny moment whereby this black American scolded the lead singer for revealing what's going to happen in the movie like Jean is going to become the Phoenix etc. LOL! He said, "Can someone turn the mike off?" Ahahhaha..

The small food stall was available there from chicken wings to popcorns to nasi lemak, which call it a "Food Village". The village is so damn small. LOL! And their sandwiches and burger there is sort of cold sia. =.=" Shouldn't have bought it. Anyhoo, me and my younger brother brought in alcoholic drinks in and some BK burgers. Because we don't have the bottle opener, we had to buy it from the Giant in Marina Square... Zzzz.. $9.50 for that. LOL!

The first movie is over! And it's time for a 20minutes break. Sian.

Round 2! This time the court house has turned off its lightings... Also, quite a number of people left to catch their transport home... This means more space for us! WEeeee...

Some free photoshoot that the Nokia staffs took. We were forced to take photo with these X-men characters sia. Hahaha.. And guess what.. They are suppose to promote the phone's camera function, but the picture turned out to be a little fuzzy. So much so that they even said sorry to my brother when they collected it. Rofl.

Sunday

No GC outing.. Boohoo. So my alternate activities popped in straight away! Golfing before our dinner at the Seletar... Crappy golf range, but that's the nearest to our house..

My sister saw this advertisement on the TV, and decided that we should take a visit there. Luckily, we managed to find a table without chairs. Then have to cope from other tables here and there.

We waited for more 1.5hours just for the food to arrive! How exhausting can that be.. Anyhoo, my brothers and I made a funky film.. I'll show it to you guys next time. The Botak Jones' menu is darn funny. The way they describe their food with crude jokes at times. LOL! So damn longwinded their stories.. Aahhaha.. Their western food is comparable to NYDC's one, and yet cheap. But I don't think it's worth the wait of 1.5 hours...

Last Day of September.

Group photo! Sheeze... Cornie doesn't even know how to use the timer function on her own camera... Luckily, got this genius to teach her.

Phototaking-crazy time! Placed the camera in one of the pots at the Esplanade rooftop, and tried to squeeze all our heads into the picture. Only managed to take this almost perfect picture after a couple of times. Ryan stop hogging the photo space leh! Lol.

No idea what to do. Hahaha.. Did a couple of punching pictures of Ting Ting, but all of them came out not really that nice I think. Hahhahaha..

If only that acts like a guillotine... Muahhahaha..

Merlion. Wanted to put up the picture of Corni and the merlion. But too obscene leh. LOL! Kidding...

Team MoC!

Let's just make do with this picture first. Don't feel like adding more images here yet. What's more it's darn late already. Should be sleeping now. The image above is a picture of team Mark of Creativity (MoC) taken after the entire presentation while we await for the results. Shaun pretty much started the trend of taking a picture with that Synergy signboard thing. Well.. You can say that Shaun is very experienced and innovative with these, when it comes to taking photos. Ahahha..

We're the Champions...

FIRST PRIZE of Cash Award for Mark of Creativity!
(And consolation prize for Innovation Award)
Group Members: Shaun, Trixie, Xiaoping, Yongyi & Me!

Our presentation faired pretty good today, as compared to all the other rehearsals we did. After weeks of drillings, the competition is finally over. The secret to our success of the presentation is the "prototype" we did below. LOL! We have gotten this idea from Mr. Helbert Toh (same surname!), whereby he suggested we use something (shampoo bottle) to portray how small our product is. Since our primary market customer is the SAF, we decided to bring along the army pants and stuffed our product into the pocket. Just like what Steve Jobs when he revealed the iPod Nano from his pants.

But nehh.. Don't think this is the main reason we have won. I just loved that idea. Anyway, we should have gotten the business school lecturers earlier to assist us. Anyhoo, we did it. At the end of our presentation, there was 2 industry players who asked for our powerpoint slides! One of which is from ST Kinetics. Imagine the post-competition royalties we would get if they actually commercialise our business plan... Thinking waayyyy too much ba. Satisfied with what we are awarded. =)

Movie was a good way to relax ourselves after all the hard work has paid off. "John Tucker Must Die" is a pretty good laugh-able movie I guess, though the ending is kinda not really that nice. But that's my own opinion alrighty. The birthday party in the show is like so damn cool. But it's sort of weird that all the attention is on you. I guess that's the main purpose ba. For popular kidos. And yes, tongs can give u extra support for your ballz to do excellent basketball shots. Whahaha.. Quite gross when they show all the fat people wearing them while picking up something that has dropped on the floor. Oh yar, before the movie, we saw Abigail doing his her dance moves on some sort of event. It was retarded. Who would in the right mind dance like a bafoon! Zzz...

Had dinner with my parents and sister at Japanese restuarant "Kuriya" at Raffles City. This is no usual restuarant. It was classy, unlike the usual Jap ones - Sakae Sushi, Genki Sushi, Sushi Tei, Yaki Yuki etc. Of course, the bill comes back a bit steep too.

Drank their famous recommended Soba Tea, which none of us really appreciated it. LOL! It really does taste like the sesame seeds. 1 pot of this can serve 2 persons. Should have just bought the normal green tea. Blah.

And this is what I ate. Soba set or some sort. Forgot the name. Quite filling, with quite a number of small dishes. It comes with Coffee/Tea and Dessert as well. The dessert was ice-cream and 2 balls of watermelon (Ahahaa...).

The food there is okay lar. If want to save money, can just go those normal restuarants. This place is suitable for special occasions only ba. Perfect place to bring a date to. Trust me on this. Peace out!

Weekend-ed

Not again - there goes another weekend. It's another family day as usual for Saturday. Spent half the day with my dad and brother practising golf at Orchid Country Club till it rained. Oh yes, we were sort of lucky to find a card that values 240 golf balls. So yea.. We used them all up. In total, we fired like 550 balls into the damn field. Dead tired you can say after that. Practise makes perfect alright. And I'm sure doing better with my shots, when using iron. Need to try doing those range shots. Later in the day, we went to Harbourfront with the rest of the family for dinner, and shopping at the "Big" megastore, that apparently has lots of discount - but none for monitors (zzz). But who cares? I myself don't really like the idea to purchase a monitor from there in the first place. Prefers Sim Lim Square. Rock on!

As for earlier today, my mum and I went to the Sim Lim area to grab-and-go the Samsung monitor I wanted. However, we took a turn to the Fu Lu Shou complex first instead to shop for some Feng Shui crystal items my mum wanted to place in her office. To my surprise, we spent a couple of hours in a particular shop - this sales auntie really good at selling the product I tell you. In the end, my mum bought 3 crystal thingies while my uncle (who happen to pop-by) bought 2 other items. Total bill: $500 plus. Shocking eh? I was like whinning all the way at her, when started saying yes to those stupid items. Then, the auntie said it was paying small sum for a bigger payout or something like that. Later at night, my dad ringed my mum when we were on the way back home that he had won the third place for 4D lottery - $2.5K. I was like surprised! So damn true. Fengshui can really turn things around. Now, I'm officially a Fengshui Master after hearing all those junkies about wealth position of the house etc. Ahahah..

I finally gotten my new 19" monitor - Samsung SyncMaster 931BF! WOOT! So slim.. so clear.. so fast... so nice.. Response time is 2ms leh! Don't play play with this. Now, my Pooh Bear is sitting on top of my "kaboomed" CRT monitor. Need to find a way to get rid of it now. Can't simply throw it into the normal waste bin, since it contains toxic substances inside. I must see if the Garanguni man will take this junkie anot. Also, my monitor comes with a free Altec Lansing speaker, which can finally replace my unknown brand speaker. All I wish now is to try to persuade my mum to upgrade the computer next year when Windows Vista is out. Woooosh...

Chalet!

Mega-Flame! Not sure whether they are playing the Pokemon game or the soccer one.. Shahrez's gang really know how to tahan playing the PS2 till late at night.

Where's my Unagi and Dragon Roll?

This was taken last Saturday, after the so-called accident happen. We were starving and didn't know where to go. So yea.. We went to the Genki Sushi at Forum The Shopping Mall and stuff ourselves with food. This was on my sister's treat, since she just had a salary lately. Ahahaha.. Wanted to take the entire Unagi Kabayaki set and the Dragon Roll (with avocado and jumbo shrimp), but only realised that I have eaten all the main dish till I left the salad and the jelly thingy. All I can say is that the unagi here isn't the best. But the dragon roll is superb!

Team France - Fireworks

You guys are 'kinda' fortunate.. Hahaha.. Filmed down at least 4 minutes of the fireworks show that was held on Saturday.. This means 26.7% of the thing wor.. Compiled like 4 different videos into one using the "VideoDJ" function on my phone.. Hahaha.. However, I was simply quite far from the fireworks, when this took placed. Don't get to see all the low fireworks "shots". So no music. Only can hear abit of the explosion thing and some noisy background in this video. Anyway, I heard from my sister (who was darn lucky to sit at the esplanade first row - went there around 6pm and camp le... Sot!) that the fireworks actually bounced on the water, and exploded, or something like that.. o.O!

August 12, 2006

He Strikes Again...

Still pretty shocked that Wei Ming actually asked if we were like to watch movie... Same thing for the chalet. Aahhaha.. Never knew he would say these sort of things... Last time ask him go, he'll just say no straight away. LOL!

This is the vomit-looking dessert, before the movie.. LOL! Don't know what Su Hua did to the thing.. Ahahahhaha... Anyway, I watched "My Super Ex-Girlfriend" with Su Hua, Pei Shan, Wei Ming & Wei Lian at Tampines Mall.. Once in a blur moon thing lor.. Haha.. Yes, this is my third movie in a week. Ouch for my wallet sia. Anyway, you can say this movie is as funny as "The Click" I think. The starting part of the movie is kinda weird, which pretty makes you feel lame at first, seeing how G Girl saves the day and stuff. But after that, you'll get hold of it. The unforgettable part is actually when Matt is having sex with his super girlfriend.. The bed broke when with Jenny lor! Here's some funny quotes then:

Jenny: [after breaking the bed while having sex] I'm sorry. I'll get you a new one.
Matt: A new bed or penis?
Jenny: Both.

What a joke sia! Especially the part you see him walking the next day. Ahahahah.. Another time with Hannah, where they crashed the bed into the neighbour's house. You must really wonder how on earth he did it. LOL!

Bleh. Now, need to headache for term tests, projects and quizzes... Sucks big time.

August 11, 2006

Chocolatey!

It's been ages since I ate this Nutella thing... My sister bought an entire truck load of these from somewhere, and placed it in the fridge. Simply love eating them just like that, using the spoon provided.. Chocolatey! Perfect with your bread as well...

August 10, 2006

Happy National Day!

What a fun-filled day it was, even though the school ended pretty late for me today....Zoomed my way from school to Orchard MRT station and meet up with my friends to chill. Our initial plan was to simply like find a place to eat dinner, then go to a place and chill. In the end, we left off to Esplanade to watch the fireworks after our dinner at Wisma. Ahahaha.. But before we could even reach Esplanade there, the fireworks started.. So here are some pictures I took with my phone! Gonna get all the photos Ian took.. When he was snapping away all the photos, he simply looked like a camera stand then.. LOL!

Beautiful ain't it? This fireworks are from Singapore team.. Didn't know there's actually different countries doing the fireworks festival till yesterday. After the entire fireworks show ended, we tried to move our way to Esplanade with the flow of crowd the other way. Thanks to Ian, who wanted to go to the V Tea Room.. And yea.. there was a HEAVY human traffic jam just outside the Esplanade. People from all directions are like pushing here and there. A very very touchy situation... Tio stuck there for a while, before we started moving again. Was sweating like nuts then. Luckily, I'm rather tall; if not, I'll like die immediately because of the squeezing and stuffs. Gahh.. To get ourselves away from the darn freakin' crowd, we went to the Via Mar and stone there for quite sometime before we actually bought a drink.. Funny sia.. Haha..

After Eileen left, we go and Watched the movie "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift" at The Cathay. Wee.. One of my favourite movie theatres! You can say that I would love to learn how to drift, right after the show. So darn cool. Funky cars. That's what makes movie amazing! Got the Asian touch to this movie, as to the first movie. By the time the movie ended, it was already like 1.30am or so? Instead of heading home, we went to Coffee Club and chilled till 3am+. WOOoo.. So nuts. XD The trip back home cost me 20 bucks. Stupid hike for cabs! ARGH! Look lar... Vote for PAP, now bus fare increase, ERP increase, taxi increase. Zzzz...

Cathay the Grand Dame

Not much shops have opened since I last been there. It's still the old Cathay that's has lost its charm, being so empty and cold. But hell yea, do I like the movie theatre hall 1 "Grand Cathay"... Didn't know that hall 1 refers to the Grand Cathay at first... =.=" There's even valets outside the hall, who will direct you to your seats! It's so darn bloody huge.. So I guess they scared people don't know where their seats, and get lost in this maze.. Weird that they don't really have the speakers on the back of the theatre. So it's not really that surround sound.. Bleh. There's even an announcement that says welcome and shit stuffs, before it opens up the red curtains. There's even some sort of flashy lights from the top and shines on the curtain and walls and stuff. Don't really know how to describe it.. Hahaha.. That's what I call a classy movie theatre.

I was there to catch the movie "Lake House", which can get pretty confusing if you ain't sure of the timeline the characters are in. The movie is about this girl (Sandra) in the present 2006 whom somehow placed a letter in a mailbox, which magically was sent to the past 2004.. Then this guy (Keane) picks up the mail, and start replying to her. That's how the love story goes from.. They mail mail mail.. Then, fall in love with each other.. But because of the time difference, they find it difficult to meet each other and things like that.. Ain't gonna say no more.. Overall, I would give 4/5 stars if you're into the love story that is. It's rather interesting how the plot goes...

Pulau Ubin Trip

Oh yes, this was the very first "class" trip supposedly in 2005. That Dr. Ong invited our class to go for the thing, but only four of us - Su Hua, Pei Shan, Alex and I turned up. Ahahaha.. What a joke. Took this picture when we are taking some sort of break. Although most of us dislikes you-know-who, he really adds some life into the class lar (forcefully). Now, the class also abit sian sian like that. Don't have anyone to suan and talk about. Ahahaha..

Want to play?

Some scabble crap that we made during an after-band party. Ahahaha..

Elias Green Dinner

How I miss Elias Green... where I stayed until when I was primary 6. It's still the same as ever. Nothing much has changed since my family moved out. The vending machine was still at the exact position! The only difference now is that it has a well-equipped gym, unlike last time. >.> Anyway, I was there with the other gc friends for dinner made by Chef Ian. (PS: He's dog is damn noisy.) Good food wor... I like the french baked apple pie, especially the crust! The only thing bad about it is that it's just abit too sweet. Less sugar ba.. Apple already so sweet liao.. Haha.. Whereas for the pumpkin soup, it taste quite okay at first. But thanks to the huge serving that TingTing gave me, I kinda got scared of it somehow! Too thick I guess.. Not really my likings. Really like the environment around the BBQ pit.. It kinda bring me back to the old days, especially the ones during Latern Festival... Boohoo? Hahaha..

Later that night, we went to TM and watch X-Men: The Last Stand! I didn't know that the pheonix can really vapourize things here and there, and even 2 of the X-Men! :o You go watch it yourself... Not gonna say who and who died. That old Magneto eventually become an ordinary human in the end.. Didn't know why on earth the movie go and classify the mutants into difference classes.. Maybe to show the magnitude of how powderful is Jean? She's class 5, while the old dude is class 3. Haha.. Good movie overall, if you don't really mind how the producers twist the original plot as in the comics.

I just noticed a darn lousy lifestyle I have since the school started... Ever since from Sunday till today, I have been sleeping at 2am and wake up at 7am. This 5-hours sleep a day is really cranking me up yesterday.. Stupid lor.. I go put my hand over mixture of Mac sauces we fooled around with. Then, this friend of mine go slapped my hand into it... Zzz.. It was 2am then. Can't really blame me for being not too awake of my actions..

The crab I ate today cost 39 bucks sia.. It tasted like so normal lor.. What a recommendation by the channel 8 show. This restuarant is located in a factory at Defu Road. Weird hor? Looks like a Kopi-Tiam.. But then when you enter the toilet, you'll be like Woah! Haha.. Cheap rental really helps to increase your profits eh.. Smart smart.. If you're famous, no point getting a busy location cos you'll know that you'll always have customers coming to your doors. Lotsa reserved seats there.. Luckily, there's a table there. If not have to wait until who knows..

So many projects and homework.. So little time to do and enjoy life. This sucks.

May 11, 2006

silkWorms!

This is a factory secret located somewhere secluded in China. A terrority where all your silky pajamas and scarfs originate from! LOL! Look at those big silkworms... So darn gross when they passed that around during the briefing of this factory tour. It's quite amazing how something produced by a worm so small can worth so much. And did you know that bulletproof vest is made from silk too?

One Night in Shanghai

After spending the last night in China, I decided to snap one picture of the ShangHai landscape from the hotel window. Seriously didn't know that this picture will turn out so beautiful. You can actually see the Pearl TV Tower from this picture! There I go again... Miss the GC days...

April 17, 2006

Parteh time...

Shopping for a present sucks, when the heaven is against you somehow. It was pouring in Orchard Road today. Was kinda half-drenched, thanks to the small pinkish umbrella of Elieen's. Don't know why, but I hate the colour pink! It just resemblance the word 'gay'. True ma.. LOL! Don't have any shirt of that particular colour... Can you imagine a guy holding a real pinkish umbrella under the rain? Talking about pink, me, Elieen and Donald bought a pink colour shirt as Ian's birthday present at the Heeren. Oh yes, Donald really knows how to shop like a lady. LOL! Keep looking at the clothes and shoes etc... Shopping King ba.

Before heading for our destination, we were like trying to hail a cab from Cathay to Meridius Orange Hotel (the graduation night place) to Takashimaya, and finally Wisma. =.=" And the queue is still long and slow-moving for goodness sake. On the taxi, we were like trying to contact who's coming and who's not. Poor Hui Ting had to walk from the Bouna Vista MRT to the Settler's Cafe alone lor! We were supposed to meet everyone there, before going there. Oh yes, when we reached the place, we were like o.O because it was located in a remoted area near olland Village. No wonder there's the block number on the address slip. We were thinking of Holland Village itself, then the creepy area. Anyway, everything is good when we entered the cafe, where we can play lotsa imported board games. Eat food, chat crap, and sing bdae song. Fun fun fun... That Ian is rather impressive, having to know how to bake a cake and make it until so nice.. *thumbs up* Whereas for Amelia, good try lar! It's the appreciation that counts. Taste not that bad either.. I bet you took quite a while to figure out how to make those cookies.

Time to talk about the "guess the picture" contest, we were thinking of the answer 'basket' in the first place. But it simply don't look like one! The clue given was a household object that can be found commonly. Amazingly we managed to got it right! Must be Ian's luck on our side. Won some sort of free flow of drinks.. Heh. Took us like 10 minutes or so just on that puzzle! Diaoz. After this, it's just home. Amelia kicked-off the trend of going home leaving on taxi, then one after another seperate each other.. Aww.. Did I mention that Cheng Yan falls down so 'beautifully'? LOL! Hui Ting was like saying something like "You deserve it!" for suaning her earlier. Wahahaha.. Took bad no one took any pictures of her on the floor. Perhaps the reason why she fell was because she wasn't wearing her sexy low-cut converse shoe..... xD

Shanghai Normal University

This photo was taken at Shanghai Normal University, where we got to know this chinese girl and toured around the school... Had one of a hell time trying to communicate with her in Chinese, while Kim keep going mia to a place to smoke. Ryan was doing most of the talking at that time, asking for information about the project. Hmmm..

Old Band Days (26/02/06-4/03/06)

This was the very first time when Anglo-Chinese School (Barker Road) band performed as a guest band in Esplanade. It was good times, when the band was under Dr. Lee Tian Tee. However, my fellow band mates disagree with me on this. So much so that they made this WASBE dude leave our band. Since then, the band started to decline.... But all these are forgotten past that no one really cherished. I do wish to cherish the good friendships then, but my actions failed on me. Don't really know how to go about doing so. How I wish I can play the Euphonium again...

It's A Girl! (12/02/06-18/02/06)

Don't you think she's a beaut! This postcard is from the a cute little box they gave us, when we attended their baby's first month. How come she doesn't have a Christian name? Ruike sounds good!

ACS(BR) Graduation Dinner (29/01/06-04/02/06)

Back to 2004! One week or so after my O levels, we went to the Hotel, next to the Cathay Cineleisure to have our graduation dinner. It was fun and cool. Somehow the song "Friends Forever" by Vitamin C is always being played in this sort of thing. It was the past. It's kind of a sad thing, that we don't actually get back together and have some sort of reunion meetings anymore. Past it is. I can't believe that the bond with my 3-months-JC is much stronger than my secondary school one. Perhaps one of us need to do something...

2nd Thailand Trip (22/01/06-28/01/06)

This was my second trip to Bangkok - Thailand, which took placed 1 year ago. The first one was actually a primary school-organised one. This time, my parents wanted to go and pray the "Four-faced Buddha" in Bangkok, so we kinda tag along for fun and see if we could get our hands on some nice clothes back to Singapore. This picture was actually taken in Rose Garden, where we watched some sort of culture performance as well. Trips are fun! Sooo eager to go to Shang Hai this coming end of semester...

Korea-Japan Trip! (15/01/06-21/01/06)

On December 2003, my family and I went to Korea for 7 days, and later Japan for 2 days. I can still clearly remember vividly the situation then, and that pervertic tour guide. LOL! This picture was taken in Disneyland Japan. Guess which person is me? Quite obvious, if compare with previous photos. Wahahaha...

05S102 Run! (08/01/06-14/01/06)

What a run! Haha.. Oh wait.. These are all my first-3-months JC friends. We actually didn't run. LOL! We walked all the way from the start point to the end. Wahaha.. Not that we couldn't run, we just couldn't be bothered to! We even waited for the girls to catch up with us, since males and females starts at different timing. It was pure fun. Miss you guys!

Cool Dog in Pula Ubin (01/01/06-07/01/06)

This was actually the very first class outdoor trip to Pula Ubin, invited by our teacher. However, only 4 people turned up then sadly. It was fun and memorable, especially with that cool dog that followed us from inland to the shore. Haha.. Still can remember Su Hua screaming for help! LOL!
